Beautiful Beach House with View

Relax in the home my dad built and called his Castle! Built on the highest point in town, the great room and master bedroom have commanding views of the ocean. The bedrooms have private bathrooms and are furnished with soft bamboo sheets and plush towels. A large kitchen with 2 built-in grills (or griddles for breakfast pancakes!) and a standard cooktop that lets you cook anything - or simply enjoy the local restaurants after a day lounging on the beach, surfing, or deep sea fishing.

Spacious with warm wooden tones and art throughout, this home is laid out to encourage relaxing and enjoying your time together. A quick walk to the beach, or drive less than 5 minutes to the marina, state parks, and local stores. The local grocery has a great variety and some amazing steaks to throw on the kitchen's grills. After your day at the beach, come back and stretch out on the couches to enjoy a show on the TV or stream something from the wi-fi. Then head upstairs to crash into the super soft bamboo sheets for a comfortable night's rest. With three bedrooms, this home most comfortably accommodates six adults, but has a twin futon, two fold-out single beds, and two large, comfy couches to accommodate the kids, too.

Please note that all bedrooms are upstairs and there are a couple steps to enter the home, so this may not be a good choice for individuals that have mobility challenges.

A super cozy & nice home!
We had a group of 7 and it was more than spacious enough for us. We loved that each room had it's own bathroom. The beach was easily accessible. Westport was beautiful! It was cool watching the sunset from the balcony on the second floor. I loved the sea/sailor paintings! There are also plenty of couches to lounge on. The kitchen was very accommodating. It was equipped with everything we needed. We made dinner and enjoyed playing board games in the living room and the big dining table. Such a cozy home. Thanks again Hornet!

Great family get away.
Had a great weekend. Great kitchen. Several people can prep meals at the same time. Enjoyed making breakfast and dinners with my family members. Lots of room for kids to play. Since it was raining for most of the weekend , the kids needed lots of indoor wiggle room. The upstairs was perfect. Loved the whole experience.

Amazing stay!
This house is amazing! It is so spacious and perfect for a group. The kitchen has everything you could ever ask for and plenty of room to both gather and cook at the same time. There are multiple places to eat and gather, the living room downstairs is cozy and quaint! We stayed in the master bedroom with views of the ocean and it was incredible! We were a short drive to town and a short walk to the beach. Do not be fooled by the exterior of the house when you pull up! It is a true gem! One thing to note - the neighbor directly to the right came out and asked us to go extremely slow down the gravel dead end where the house is located because she takes care of that road herself and her two dogs are hard of hearing and sometimes do wander out into the road. Thank you Hornet! We will be back, hopefully many times!
