When we arrived there was no heating on and no hot water. The outside temperature was 6C and the cottage was colder than that. Eventually someone arrived to put on the heating and light the wood burning stove. Even with that there was no way the cottage would be warm for at least 12 hours. We decided to leave and returned the key.
Apart from the cold, there was nothing welcoming about the cottage. There was no welcoming pack or instructions. There was nothing comforting and the furniture and equipment were sparse.
Lovely location on a hill above Aberfeldy.
Extremely friendly staff.
The bistro menu was very extensive and inventive.
Rooms a bit dated and it's a shame the lounge with fireplace seemed to be being used as a storage area and wasn't available to guests. It would've been a nice cosy spot to sit.
Absolutely delighted we chose to stay here. The staff were friendly and quick to respond to any queries we had.
The room was spotless and very large. Lots of choice with the tea and coffee facilities including oat milk sachets which I thought was a great touch.
The bathroom was very modern and finished to a high standard.
Breakfast choices were requested the night before and the table was ready on arrival in the morning with cereal choices. Hot drinks and food followed swiftly once cereal was finished.
We ate at the restaruant on our 1st night and enjoyed it so much that we asked for a reservation again the following night. We were told they were fully booked so we asked to let us know if anyone cancelled during the day. On our 2nd day after a day sightseeing our waiter Callum let us know he'd managed to fit us in.
He was our waiter both nights and he was attentive, freindly and professional. He gladly ecxhanged pleasantries with all the guests in the restaurant before they left for the evening.
The food itself was fantastic and we enjoyed everything we ate.
We enjoyed a walk round the grounds where there are plently of ducks and chickens strolling around.
Aberfeldy main street is less than 5 minute drive away.
Overall we had a great stay, lovely room with a big bed and bath. We also ate in the restaurant where the food was fantastic!

Really comfy mattress.
Good shower and bathroom facilities.
Good Smart TV in room.
Farm Shop and shop staff were lovely.
Did not feel welcomed. Covid - directions signage unclear.
Staff were not informative.
Eating and check out information was not provided.
Building works outside window was noisy and not acknowledged by staff.
Car park was closed.
Price did not reflect level of service provided for our stay.
Areas were out of bounds, price remained the same.
Property did not feel ready for guests.
Lovely area kind considerate staff really helpful. really enjoyed my stay got to relax and enjoy the local area and will be going back again AAA+ thanks again Shaun
Lovely secluded three-bedroomed farm cottage with stunning views of the Perthshire countryside, and yet only half-an-hour's walk from the centre of Aberfeldy. A perfect blend of remoteness and tranquillity with ease of access to all of the amenities of the local town. Stunning.
What an amazing location and facility - we loved our family adventure at Errichel. Remotely located offering stunning views but within easy reach of the great activities/sites that the Aberfeldy area has to offer.
Lovely place to stay. Modern and well done conversion with spacious bedrooms, comfortable beds and a large bathroom with plenty of hot water (and good pressure).
Unfortunately the restaurant was closed so we couldn't sample the menu from the chef/patron but at least we got to see all his accolades as the hall is filled with his certificates!

Quiet and tranquil location.
Too far from Aberfeldy centre considering dinner is unavailable Sunday and Monday.
This is off the beaten path, or at least was for us, but not too far from the quaint town of Aberfeldy. We decided at the last minute to enjoy the 3-course gourmet meal offered at Errichel House, as we didn’t want to drive anymore that day. What a great decision! Fantastic food, quiet, comfortable room and couldn’t have been happier with our decision to stay there!
What a beautiful setting! the views are spectacular, and the grounds are lovely. We were there on a sunny day and enjoyed sitting out in the garden watching the ducks. The restaurant was closed for a private event, so we took a short drive into town to a very nice pub for dinner. Breakfast was amazing - everything was so fresh! Kudos to the chef. Very relaxing place to stay.
