After an 8 hour drive I was really looking forward to a soak in the hot tub before bed. At check in I asked how late the hot tub was open and they said it was closed. It was 7pm. When I asked about hours they said it was out of order. Then I asked about changing my reservation to a hotel with a functioning hot tub. They said I would have to go through hotels.com to change my reservation and a refund was not guaranteed. After such a long drive I did not feel like searching for a new place to stay or having to deal with the hassle of a third party to get a refund. So disappointing. When I went to check out the pool it was obvious the hot tub had been out of service for a while. It’s unfortunate they did not mention that on their website. I would have definitely booked another hotel.
