This was our first stay at the Gaylord National, but not our last. The staff was friendly and accommodating, the amenities were clean and alluring. We enjoyed the multiple bars and restaurants as well as the proximity to the harbor offerings. We will be back!
I was staying for 4 nights initially given a horrible room facing a concrete wall and to the left of me more concrete with weeds growing from the rocks
This is my second stay, and it just keeps getting better. It’s a wonderful self-contained convention center with all the amenities and everything else just a short walk nearby in national Harbor. The convention center itself is a marvel of engineering with a beautiful atrium and it is perfectly well maintained. Safe and secure parking is also a plus. I would come back again and again.

That there were no luggage racks for self service use of taking your bags to and from your room without having to use bell hop. Parking fees for registered hotel guests rates are too pricey for self parking and distance of walking required.
Both expedia and gaylord were totally useless when I had to cancel my reservation because of health reasons. I had purchased cancellation insurance now I have to fill out a 20 page questionaire and get the surgeans signature. Such a hassell will not be staying at any gaylord again or using expedia!

Bad Service
When checking in the girl in the front did amazing, but after heading back to the front counter and extending our stay the person was not very informative causing the next morning being awaking by a call from the front desk that they needed a credit card for extending our stay. After that we received a phone call from our family and we had to be back home due to a family issue that had to do with two minors and we had to be back home ASAP, unfortunately not the front desk nor customer service via phone could assist us and we had to call the third party and they continue to have conflicting stories. We try to change the date for another day and we did not get that opportunity. We will be back in the area in the near future for different events but this time we will choose a different alternative which will consider their customer over the money while business was extremely slow. As a experienced Manager for a Fortune 500 Company we took care of the customer first and made sure they have an outstanding experience.
