We were going to a Commanders game the next day and this is located perfectly off of 495. The hotel is a little worn, but the staff was friendly and the bed was comfortable. All we needed!

First the good: the location was safe and quiet. We drove up on Thanksgiving Day and unlike other places, it was quiet and without any vagrants walking around. However, our toilet started running at about 10 PM. When I called to have it fixed, they had no one on duty to fix it. I get that it’s Thanksgiving but they should have someone available to address such common problems. To their credit, they did offer to give us another room. But it was Thanksgiving evening and we were settled in. So we messed around with the toilet and fixed it temporarily. Then, in the morning, it didn’t flush right after I did my business. They did send someone up at the time but it was awkward. Fixing it the night before would have mitigated the problem.

It's understandable the building is a bit old and it requires lots of maintenance in order to keep it up to look nice and neat, but overall for 1 night its a very rasonable hotel.

There was only one elevator working - did not see that on the hotel listing. Unfortunately I was greeted by a roach in our bathroom and non-working TV remote. The bed was very comfortable.

only two elevators, one broken when we arrived and the other broke the next day, we had to take the stairs to 8th floor, some people were waiting in lobby until someone went to fix it. they should have fixed the first elevator since the beginning.

My colleagues and I got two rooms on the 6th floor it was not quiet, in the hall there was a couple fighting, cursing each other and screaming arou 3am. We couldn't sleep well.

We come to the DC area 2 or 3 times a year. We like this location because of the eating places and the surrounding areas are very nice. The hotel it self is a little older but it’s very clean and comfortable.
