Condition of the room was ok but decor was dated. No USB ports and no spare power points near the beds was frustrating. The pool was great and very refreshing. Town centre was 5 minutes walk away so very convenient.

Last minute booking. Pleasantly surprised, short walk to center of town. Beds were so comfortable, crisp white linen ensured we were able to catch up on some much needed sleep. I’d recommend this hotel.

We chose the Mercure for accommodation before and after a hike based on its close proximity to town, it’s secure, & has a restaurant. Couldn’t fault our stay. The rooms were big enough, great shower pressure, had delicious meals at the restaurant, and we felt very safe. An easy 10 minute walk into town. I would stay here again.

We were unable to book with our usual facility and thought we would give this hotel a go. Glad I did. The facility was just outside of the city centre, away from the usual city noise and disruptions. The staff were friendly and I thought the price was reasonable. Will definitely stay again.

5-10 minutes to the town centre. Room faced the main road but there is so little traffic at night that it’s not noisy.

The restaurant was amazing! The food was so tasty and above average. Lots of choice. The breakfast was nice too. Staff were all very helpful and friendly. Batman was great! The only con - we could not get hot water to have a shower. Maybe we picked a popular time in the morning but the whole time my husband had a shower it was slightly warm/ cold.

My room was lovely Generally place bit old looking eg from the front area the garden area has old electrical items in the front Price was expensive amd it wouldve been nice for breakfast to be included Pool area was relaxing but -bar area dirty plus needs weeding and maybe a few plants in garden Oberall a lovely stay

Friendly staff Room was spacious and comfy bed. Pool area relaxing, probably could do with less weeds and more plants and the area with bar in needs cleaning plus pool glass fence area. Lovely housekeeping service/staff . Lastly the outside area along walk to bridge needs cleaning -a little unsightly
