Wonderful home!
The home was exactly as pictured. It was in a nice quiet location as well. There were 5 of us that stayed and there was more than enough room for all of us plus more. We were all very comfortable and enjoyed staying there. It was in a really good location and we were able to drive to surrounding areas and back with no problems. The mattress in the master bedroom was so comfortable I wish I had remembered to check what the brand was but totally forgot to do so. If we travel that way again I would definitely stay again.

The house was immaculate and beautifully decorated. The hosts were very thoughtful in providing coffee, creamer, snacks, and ice. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and bathrooms. The hosts answered all of our questions quickly.

Perfect location for trip to Big Bend
We visited Alpine, Big Bend National Park, Fort Davis, McDonald Observatory, and Marfa. This place was the best base for our visit. The views off the porch were excellent. The home was nicely appointed and had all the comforts of home. We would stay here again in the future.

Great for a family!
We had some great family time. Went to McDonald Observatory, Maria, Ft Davis, Balmoreah. House was very conveniently located and well furnished. We played frisbee in the back yard, cooked hamburgers, marshmallows. Weather was great!

Alpine Visit
We used Alpine as our base of operations as we visited sites in Marfa and Fort Davis. Our rental was perfect! Woke up in the morning with rabbits, deer and chickens in the front yard! The front porch view was spectacular as well. We will definitely use the place again when we are back in town.

Beautiful Home in Alpine
We were in the area mainly for Big Bend National Park. We looked at other homes closer to the park, however decided on this home although it was a bit further but looked much nicer than the other homes we were considering. We were very happy with the home. It was very well furnished and all of the beds were very comfortable and we really appreciated the very nice bedding and towels as well. Kitchen was also very well appointed. We would definitely consider staying in home again if in the area.

Excellent Place to Stay!
I looked at many properties in the vicinity of Big Bend and Terlingua and gladly chose this wonderful place . We stayed at the Farmhouse for a long weekend. My relatives from Bavaria wanted to see Big Bend and Terlingua. The house was wonderful, clean, and the beds were comfortable. The Kitchen is Completely furnished with everything shown in the pictures, and more. Our host, Joe, was very accommodating and very pleasant to work with. Thank you Joe for a wonderful trip! The place is a great place to stay. Accessible to all of the Big Bend area. The owner, Joe was very easy to communicate with. Always available to answer any questions. Will definitely stay there again on our next trip.
