Considering the location and the room condition, the price was too expensive. Room was too small, shared bathroom & kitchen was not convinient to use.

The property is 2 mins walk from Alpnachstad and Alpnachstad Pilatus Cogwheel train station. The room was spotless clean, the bathroom was lavish, we also got some free coffee, tea and biscuits. The neighbours were lovely and the surroundings were breathtaking.

Very kind owners
When we got there it turned out that Hotels.com messed up on our reservation and the hotel never received it and had already filled up all their rooms that night. The owner went out of his way to find us another guesthouse nearby, and allowed us to go back the next day to store our luggage while we went up Pilatus.
