The Canal house is a good restaurant and bar... The TGIFridays has poor service although if they finally serve you the food is okay. I recommend the Canal House. The hotel is nice with easy access and quiet... I highly recommend the Hotel.

The property was located right on the entrance to the panama canal. i watched ships go by my balcony all day and night. TGI Fridays was a plus right on the property as well. The UBER service in panama city was terrific.

this property is impressive and I might stay there in the future, however: the heat in the room never adjusted to my desired setting despite two visits from the tech; And...the front desk guy was MIA for a chunk of time after midnight. Poor guy maybe he really needed to sleep - I don't want to judge, but I was dialing my fingers away for a while cause the room was chilly, I needed to sleep to catch an early flight following morning; When I headed downstairs one other guest also showed up, looking for him. I walked to the TGIF, banged on a few doors, and voila found him in a back room. He looked...like he needed rest.

Well located hotel for the convention center with great views of the Panama Canal. It has good facilities and friendly staff, and there is a dedicated bus to go to the conference center too. The hotel rooms are a bit dated however, and bathrooms need modernising.

Old hotel
This hotel needs serious renovations. The property itself is old. Furniture has musty smell. Walls need to be paint. The photos do not show the real true of how this hotel looks. In my personal experience the air conditioner of my room was not working so I went to the front desk informed the situation and they call the technician after a quick review he said air conditioner was fine. A few minutes later air conditioner was still not working correctly so I went back to the front desk and the lady said to the other person that was there that they were going the change me from room, but made it sound like if it was a big favor and that change rooms are not allowed. Not to mention that he new room was even in worst condition that the one they gave me the first time.
