Extremely friendly helpful staff. The food was delicious, the beach was wonderful, the pool was wonderful. Good A/C and incredible view. Our shower head had an issue they weren’t able to fix due to not having a new shower head but they made it right in the end by compensating a full dinner and wine. 5 stars and highly recommend. Amazing

This hotel is gorgeous. Amazing location with an extremely convenient shuttle service. The shuttle brings you directly to town and to their gorgeous private beach. The entire staff works like a well oiled machine. What a beautiful stay. I’d heavily recommend this hotel.

The Grand Excelsior Amalfi is a beautiful hotel with a majestic view of the entire Amalfi Coast. For those of you who speak the native language, you will enjoy it. For those who do not speak Italian, I believe you will enjoy it even more since the courteous staff bends over backward to accommodate your every need. I highly recommend this wonderful place.

The weather was amazing while we were there. The rooms are very clean. We had a patio that overlooked the Almalfi Coast, great view. It was also conveniently located, so going into town was quick and easy. We also had a shuttle service that ran All day from morning to about 10pm, so we saved money on taxis. The breakfast was included and was great. The hotel service was exceptional.

One word to describe this place : AMAZING! The hotel is so clean and the staff are amazing, so nice and helpful! They have shuttles to get to the center and beach just about every 20 minutes which is super convenient! We had breakfast every morning that was also great with a gorgeous view over looking the coast! I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to go to Amalfi! Everything about it was fantastic!

Amalfi done right.
Our first time staying in Amalfi and I don’t think we’ll be able to stay anyway else! The views are incredible and the service is even better than that. As soon as you walk in you’re very well taken care of. The restaurant has great food and the bar is fully loaded. The pool shares the amazing views and very unique. The gym was perfect for what we needed also. Views from the bed made it hard to get out of it every morning. We will 100% be back.

The hotel staffs are generally very good and friendly. The hotel set up is very good. One thing that was turning me off is that the smell (raw sewer) of the bathroom. That is more likely result of poor construction. I asked front deck to have maintenance check it out but nothing happen. What happen is that drain clean out placed at wrong place or be not capped which more likely caused the sewer smell keeps coming out.

Our room, a newly renovated junior suite, was both elegant and technologically advanced, ensuring a comfortable and modern stay. It was impeccably clean, and the sophisticated decor made our experience even more special. The pool area was another highlight, offering a spectacular view that made every swim feel like a dip in paradise. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, always greeting us with warm smiles and helpful tips. Their friendliness was exemplified when one staff member kindly offered us a ride in his personal car to the city, ensuring we didn’t miss our boat tour—a gesture we deeply appreciated. The shuttle service provided by the hotel was incredibly convenient, making trips to the city effortless and adding to the overall comfort of our stay. We absolutely loved our time here and would not hesitate to stay again if we return to the Amalfi Coast. It was a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and outstanding service.
