Great location, good food and restaurant choice and the staff were wonderful. The rooms (or at least the one we had) are bewildering. Large double bed (King?) but only one bedside lamp. The room is ultra dark when the bedside light is off so bring a torch/flashlight for bathroom visits. The shower, consistent with all UK showers is unfathomable, made worse by the light locations. Inspect the shower with the lights off using your flashlight. You will notice that it has a shower head, on the ceiling, by the light fitting. This is invisible with the lights on as you blinded by the light. Both me and my partner never saw it and separately showered using the hand shower mounted at about 4 ft off the ground. Apart from that, it was wonderful!

We didn’t sleep through noise from the air con even though switched off. Rang down tried to stop it didn’t work. In morning told we would get a refund if we contacted Expedia . We did and they didn’t give the refund even though the manager promised it. If you want any to be very tired from or going to a flight stay here worst night sleep ever

Best describes as FANTASTIC! Brilliant staff, great location, immaculate room, hood value restaurant. Easy access to Newcastle via Airport Metro and just a short walk to the Airport Terminal.

The lady on reception when we arrived was very abrupt and not customer focused very unpleasant experience. The lady in the bar was also very poor, although one one of the waiters was 100%. The room was ok but there was a noise all night. I contacted reception and they said it would stop in 20 mins it didn’t.

Staff great. Food OK for a hotel, beer ok. The problem was the temperature. In the reception and bar area they kept the inside doors open on a freezing cold day, so every time the outside doors opened, we got blasted. Hotel room was either too hot, or too loud with the aircon on.
