Nice midweek city break

Very conveniently located. Easy walking distance to the museum quarter and good access to Amsterdam central and canal cruises.

The hotel needs reparations. The room was the most uncomfortable one we have ever been to. Didn't has air conditioning just a couple of small fans that made imposible to sleep.

Good value and clean room

Clean and well laid out room, bathroom clean and tidy, with plenty of towels provided. Tea and coffee facilities in the room and free water refills downstairs. Friendly and helpful staff at the front desk and a lift for cases etc.

This property should not be rated as 3 stars; carpets are old, dirty and unclean, beds were dirty and I had to leave the property and not stay there. Telephone didn’t work, would not stay there even in it was the last place on earth

Basement room smelt like a sewer the entire time we were there. Fridge in the room didn’t work, reported smell and fridge to front desk to be told ‘none of the fridges in the hotel work!’. I was given a can of lynx body spray for the smell - unacceptable. Carpet torn and walls dirty, would not recommend and certainly would never stay there again.

The property is in the heart of Amsterdam. It is easy to get anywhere from the hotel. We stayed in a room in the third floor with windows that open at the top only three inches. It was 95 degrees outside with no air conditioning and no way to cool down our room temperature which made sleeping extremely difficult.

Prime location!!! The only upgrade I suggest them to do is finding a better way to cool the room. Fans are not acceptable at this age!!

Not as described! Paid extra as this room supposed to have fridge , it wasn’t there. Asked about it and they said that they are replacing the fridge and the new unit is not there yet. Then they should charge less. Bath area is 2x2 feet, if you are a big guy, can’t take shower here. Noisy doors at night , anyone shuts the door , it slams in itself and wakes you up. No ironing arrangement. And the room phone doesn’t work. Only good thing is 24/7 ice and free coffee . Far from city centre, but that’s why it’s a bit cheaper.

Hotel was everything it stated when booking the room. We booked a basement triple bed room. Room was very clean on arrival. Every day we received new towels and rooms were regularly cleaned. Only downside was the fridge didn't work in our room. However the reception did have an ice machine which did help. Suffered from mosquito bites, made reception aware of this and thankfully he went and sprayed the room and made it a better nights sleep for us for the rest of the stay. Would have preferred to have air conditioning in the room but there was a fan which did help. Overall was really satisfied with the hotel and room we stayed in. I would happily stay there again.
