Took over an hour to check in bcz of a mixup apparently w/Expedia, where I booked but mgmt cleared it up. The steps are terrible and the steepest leading up to rooms. If you fall down them, kiss ur a** good-bye. Tiny rooms, had bad view of rooftop/trash and pigeons (brug room 19). However, convenient location to everything.

Fun location, glad it was only one night.
No air conditioning made for a miserable hot night. The twin beds disguised as a full/queen leave much to be desired. Steep stairs.

We've stayed here several times while in Amsterdam. Great place. Staff is wonderful and very helpful. Most rooms are quiet, some not so much. The stairs are steep and heavy luggage is cumbersome.

Hotel Corner House is located in a nice area of Amsterdam, and just off Dam Square, so easy to get to whether walking or catching the convenient tram. The bar downstairs is welcoming and a popular spot for food & drink all day… I thought it was a very reasonable price for my stay, although I’d definitely pay extra to have a double room next time instead of a small single room on the 4th floor. Not sure if the other rooms are different but I would have enjoyed some coffee making facilities but with all that, the hotel suited my needs as a base for exploring Amsterdam!

No elevator, steep staircases
Definitely don’t recommend this lodging choice for anyone with heavy bags as there are no elevators. We had to manage our suitcases up three flights of steep stairs and I had to promise my husband I’d never book any place like this ever again. The location is central and convenient, but pretty noisy. There’s no formal lobby or services, no coffeemaker in the room, and the bathroom felt bare bones, like a hospital bathroom. Great for young people on a budget, with lightweight bags and strong backs.

The hotel itself was nice, very clean, and extremely convenient. Our room (room 2) was on the second floor and faced a busy street, which was extremely noisy throughout the night. We managed to get very little to no sleep.

An excellent hotel at a resonable price, within a short walking distance of the attractions. The staff are very friendly and helpful and it is very clean. My room was small, but had all i needed with a great en suite with hot water at all times of the day. This is Amsterdam and there is no lift but the staff were very good and took my suitcase upstairs for me and bought it down, plus kept it safe until i left. The food is excellent, breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The staff are extremely helpful and friendly! The location is great- right off the Dam Square. The only negative is the lack of an elevator so that means you have to carry luggage up the stairs…but one very kind gentleman that works there was amazing and helped carry up our luggage.

Construction on the road in front made the entire area very dirty and litter strewn, very unlike Amsterdam. We were on the 3rd floor and the stairs are very steep. The water pressure in the shower was weak, very hard to take a decent shower. The area can be fairly noisy late at night.
