The room itself was small, clean, and as to be expected for an ibis budget room - it fits all your needs without any extras. Extra loo paper provided in the loo which was a definite plus. The air conditioning in the room is extreme - I don't know if it's because it was -2 outside, but even having set the AC unit to 28 I still ended up wrapping the entire blanket around me, covering myself with the two towels and chucking my coat over the top of everything! As I was unfortunately only in the room for a 5 hour sleep, this meant I didn't have time to get it sorted, or for the room to warm up, before it was time to check out. Checking in was unfortunately terrible - a bus load of people arriving at once (as would be expected from the shuttle bus) at 11.50pm but only one staff member to get through everyone and their queries - by the time I got to the front of the queue it was 00.30. More staff would definitely be useful. Otherwise, if you happen to be front of the queue off the bus and request extra blankets/don't mind it being very cold, the room ticks all the boxes! Clean, tidy, accessible, hot water for the shower, comfy enough bed and good pillows.

Generally a good airport hotel as they have a free shuttle service to and from the airport. Friendly front desk, convenient breakfast location but need a 30 min bus ride to the centre. The room is small but functional. No mini fridge or toiletries were available so bring your own. Unfortunately for me, the shuttle bus broke down on my ride back to the airport after check out. Which was understandably unexpected and inconvenient. However, when we approached the driver to inquire about the situation, as we had a train to catch, the blonde driver responded by yelling at us. This behavior was extremely unprofessional and rude. Instead of addressing our concerns calmly or providing information, the situation was unnecessarily escalated. We also had a train to catch and just needed more information. Other wise it would have been just a normal stay.

This is one of those tiny space hotels where you have a bed and a small shower and toilet and you are just there to sleep, which is fine considering this is why we were there. I just think that for the spartan conditions the hotel is too expensive.

Very small room but lack of amenities makes it feel even smaller. Shower viewable from entire room- no privacy. Toilet in tiny cabinet style closet without door handle. No coffee, no kettle, no tea, no Kleenex/tissues, no blackout curtain, no frills, minimal outlets, no fridge, hard beds, no food nearby, unhealthy snacks only. Does have a free airport shuttle. Staff were kind.

Okay but not perfect
It was fine; however the room had a rotten egg smell and also at some point in the night, someone was smoking nearby and I could smell it in the room. Not sure which smell was worse. The doors have cool wooden lock keys but all night I was woken up by the sound of some look opening. Can’t they just be silent? It was clean and near McDonald’s and you can walk there. I also got a Christmas chocolate when I checked in! But the price is right!
