First room with the windows to the street. Could hear the street noise. Smaller room compared to other hotels i stayed for my Amsterdam trip. The bed was 2 beds put together that would move apart throughout the night.

We chose this hotel based on the property having an elevator. Unfortunately, the elevator only went as far as the 3rd floor. Our room was on the 4th floor.

Nice hotel, small size but to be expected for the area and price. Super convenient to lots of nice places to explore in Central Amsterdam without being too busy. Only negative was the shower was a bit funny and made a fair bit of mess on the bathroom floor.

The room above us was incredibly noisy. We heard stomping throughout the day and night for our entire stay. The hotel did provide ear plugs, which we ended up using. We had a beautiful canal view and were on the 1st floor so we could hear people talking and walking by throughout the night. The water pressure in the bathroom was very low and made showering a bit of a challenge but overall, it was a good stay.

The staff went above and beyond to assist us. The stairs were very steep and so they put us on the first floor which helped a bit but we knew these were the conditions when we booked the hotel. There were multiple dining options within walking distance and we were happy with that. Overall, I would recommend the hotel.

Great find!
Can't recommend this hotel highly enough. It was reasonably priced compared to others in the area, rooms were very clean and modern (with air conditioning) and the lady on the front desk was very friendly. It's located about 20 mins walk outside of the city centre in a really nice area of town. Ideal for any couple as we were staying in Amsterdam

Fine stay, steep stairs, great walkability
The hotel was nice enough and not expensive. It's incredibly walkable and close to everything in Amsterdam. If you're not planning on spending much time in the hotel, I would recommend staying here. The front desk staff was incredibly nice. The room itself is small and a bit outdated. The bathroom is incredibly tight. The most difficult part of the property is the steep stairs - which I can't really fault them for as most buildings in this area of Amsterdam are historic - but be prepared for incredibly steep stairs to reach your room. There is an elevator, but it is slow and tight. The thing about Amsterdam is you won't want to spend your time in your hotel room, so this is a great place to call home base while you get out and explore one of the best cities in Europe.

Pretty clean! Staff are extremely helpful!! The hotel recently added an elevator (manually operated by the rider) that goes from lobby to 3rd floor, but to go to 4th (has only 4 floors) you need to take the stairs. Note that the stairs are spiral kind which could be a little difficult to take if you have mobility issues or heavy luggage. But if you don’t, take the stairs, it’s part of the Amsterdam architectural charm!

Lovely little hotel that makes accessing museums and other attractions easy. Our rooms looked out on the canal and the neighborhood beyond. So quiet! Steep stairs to to 4th floor might be challenging to the elderly. Did wish for a common room where one might retreat during the day if one was at the hotel and not able to spend time in the room. Cafes nearby are a good solution.
