Great option for a family! Beds for up to 6 and easy transportation from the airport (direct bus) and to all of the major sights in Amsterdam via nearby tram connections. Pleasant staff and quite clean.

The room was modestly sized yet perfect for our needs. Staff was kind and helpful, and we could easily walk everywhere we wanted to visit. We would happily stay here again.

This hotel is located in a great area that I absolutely love. My only bad points about the hotel would be, when we checked in we were told we got an upgraded room and it was so small we were barely able to walk around to the beds. No place for our suitcases and no lights without a key and no individual switch for the batheoom light ao you jist had to leavd it on until it turnes over. Also when we tried to get a pizza we were told they weren’t available.

We had a basement room, no window, the lift was the service lift to our room. It was opposite the staffs apartment, not well kept, looked messy. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Great Stay!

Had a great stay at The Alfred hotel. Room is not very spacious and the floor lamp would not stand straight, but beds were comfortable and overall very clean. Easy walk to museums near by and about 20-30min to city center. Bonus points for how close the 397 line to the airport is to the hotel. Same bus also takes you to city center. Reception could have been a bit more helpful about recommendations, but she was nice at least! Would stay again.

We really liked staying at this hotel. They have bikes you can rent, which was fun, but make sure to check the bike before you take it, cause some are not in the best shape. The area around the hotel is very quiet and peaceful, and it’s not too far from the museums. There are also some really good coffee shops you can walk to. One more thing we liked, there was no weed smell near the hotel, which was nice. Overall, a good place to stay!
