This 1911 Craftsman style home is the perfect vacation rental for families of all ages, located only 1 1/2 miles from Disneyland and the Anaheim Convention Center. Near restaurants & Starbucks. Winner of the 2008 Anaheim Beautiful Award and featured on the 2011 Anaheim Historical Society Home Tour and The 2018 Mother Colony Garden Tour. You'll enjoy this comfortable, casual style of living. Start your day with a cup of coffee or end your day with a glass of wine on the large wooden front porch overlooking a beautifully landscaped yard. Swing on the porch swing or relax on chairs with ottomans. Listen to the fountain and watch the birds in their nests or the hummingbirds feeding. Lemon, and a lime trees fragrance the backyard, and a vegetable garden. Scooters and Little Tykes cars for the kids. Experience the California lifestyle- play bocce ball, horse shoes or corn hole. Grill on the gas barbecue, sit on the glider and enjoy the sounds of the fountain, eat your meals on the large outdoor patio table, roast marshmallows with the kids on the fire pit. You will leave Anaheim with many magical vacation memories.


Kitchen and Elegant Master Retreat: The spacious kitchen has a large, deep, Farmhouse sink, and butcher block counter tops. Stainless steel dishwasher, microwave, Italian 2 oven convection stove, and double door refrigerator with ice maker. Everything you need for cooking is provided, pots and pans, baking sheets, utensils, platters, casserole dishes, plates, glasses, including wine glasses. Keurig coffee maker and coffee pods, blender, toaster, Kitchen Aid mixer. Spices, flour, sugar, oil, tea bags, first aid kit and fire extinguisher. LG Steam front loading washer and dryer in the house. We have many toys including a train table ,play kitchen, family games, dolls, puppet theater, books, dress up clothes.A large dining room table plus booster seats and a highchair.
Upstairs is the Elegant Master Retreat with two pedestal sinks, toilet, shower and bathtub. The bed is a Sleep Number fully adjustable California King . Armoire has a 27 inch flat screen HDTV.

Additional Bedrooms and Bathroom: The two additional bedrooms are downstairs. One bedroom has a California King size bed and flat screen TV, the other has a Queen size bed and a twin.Memory foam mattress toppers and high thread count sheets with extra pillows. The living room has a queen size sofa bed. We can also provide a toddler bed and a portable crib. The second full bathroom has a pedestal sink and deep soaking claw foot bathtub. Tub also has a shower head and a hand held shower fixture. Each bathroom has fluffy towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap, body wash, hair dryer, toilet paper, and cotton balls. For your convenience we also have a highchair, booster seat, pack and play, safety gates, bathtub toys and a Sit N Stand stroller. Off street gated parking and full use of the 10,000 sq. ft property. There is a ring door bell located by the front door.

Activities: Beautiful beaches are located only 30 minutes away. We have beach towels, chairs, boogie boards, ice chest, and sand toys for your use. Restaurants, Packing House Food Hall, Art Galleries, Museums, Ice Skating, Farmers Market, Parks, Starbucks, and Anaheim Brewery all within walking distance. Angels Baseball Stadium, Anaheim Convention Center, The Honda Center, Childrens Discovery Science Museum, shopping malls, Outlet mall, movie theaters, Vans indoor skate park, childrens zoo, antique stores, California Missions, Knott's Berry Farm, Knott's Water Park, fishing, golf, hiking a short drive away. If you would like to travel a little further, Long Beach Aquarium, The Queen Mary, Hollywood, The Los Angeles Zoo, Universal Studios, Lego Land, Sea World, San Diego Zoo, The Wild Animal Park, Casinos, and Wine Tasting are available. Warm and welcoming home!
We are big fans of the craftsman style homes. She's done an amazing job at curating beautiful antique furniture pieces and maintaining the historical elements of the home. The house was beautiful inside and out. Kandee provided everything that you would think of or need in your own home. She's a wonderful and generous host! The playroom was filled with toys that my son and niece loved playing with. The backyard was so nice for the kids to play safely and a great place to come back to after a long day and Disneyland. We enjoyed sitting by the outdoor fireplace and the s'mores that Kandee provided. Highly recommend place to stay!!

Thoughtful property, delightful owner.
I think this may be my first review, but I definitely thought one was warranted. We recently stayed at this property on a family vacation to Disneyland. From the moment we arrived and were greeted by the owner, we felt right at home. The house is one of the oldest in Anaheim, so you can expect some kinks but nothing you won’t get used to. The owner will explain what to expect from the historic home and is available by text message the entire stay. She was responsive and thoughtful to our guests and adjusted some of the toys that are available in the back yard once she saw the age of our kiddos. The fully functional and updated kitchen had everything we needed, and you can likely expect pancake mix, smores and condiments to be stocked so check the cupboards before you go shopping. You can get to the Disneyland parking garages with only two turns, or you can walk to downtown Disney if your up to the almost two-mile walk. I ran/jogged a couple of times, and I think the entrance to downtown was less than a twenty-minute jog. There is an excellent brewery called Radiant Beer Co., less than a mile away that my wife and I walked to and thoroughly enjoyed. The West Coast IPA was killer! There is another brewery a bit further down the road called Villains, that was pretty good as well. So in closing, a very sweet and thoughtful owner. A really comfy and unique home with tons of stuff for kids to do. Good proximity to beer (this is key for me), Disney and grocery stores.

Home away from Home!
This is our second trip to Disneyland and both times we chose to stay at this amazing VRBO. Kandee is the most fantastic, thoughtful, accommodating hostess. The house is immaculate and has everything you could possibly need. Kandee answers any questions you have quickly and makes her guests feel truly cared for. The house itself is BEAUTIFUL!! It is only a 5 minute drive to Disneyland which makes it so easy to go back and forth (we were able to come back easily for both lunch and dinner). The beds are very comfy, the kitchen is well-stocked (and beautiful!), the laundry machines are SO helpful, the backyard is gorgeous and has LOTS of fun activities set up, the bathrooms are clean and spacious and the property is gorgeous. We loved having the AC and the beautiful front porch where I could watch the birds and admire the roses on the swing with a cup of coffee. My son was thrilled there was a Nintendo Switch to use. Lots of games and activities to entertain kiddos! Whenever we leave this VRBO, it feels like we are leaving “home.” It’s such a GEM and if you stay here you won’t be disappointed!

Home Sweet Home
We were surprised to get a welcome tour and have our host stay in the back house however we were very greatful to hear the history of this home & know Kandee was close by if we needed anything. Our 13 month old granddaughter enjoyed every minute of the playroom and of the toys outside. The house was spacious and very comfortable. We were able to cook inside the kitchen which had anything and everything we needed as far as gadgets and cookware. Being able to cook outside was great too and just wished we could have spent more time out back playing with various games that were there. The beach stuff came in handy too. Thanks Kandee for making us feel so welcomed.

Only one word - AMAZING!!
What an amazing time my family and I had staying at Kandee’s home. First, Kandee as a host is amazing. She made arrangements for us before we got to her home regarding where we wanted the crib for our infant, checked on what toys we wanted out for all of the kids (2, 13, and 17), greeted us at the home, and checked in on us throughout. Second, her home is amazing. It was clean, spacious, in a quiet neighborhood. My infant loved the playroom, the big kids loved all the outdoor sports, and the parents had enough space away from the kids. There’s so much cool history there too! Third, location is key. It’s a five minute drive to Disney and a 10 minute Uber to the Angels. Ruby's Diner is in walking distance and there is an amazing Mexican restaurant right across the street. Finally, we couldn’t have asked for anything better. Kandee, and her home, well exceeded our expectations. We just wish we had longer there.

Amazing stay for our grandkids first Disneyland trip. Kandee was the best host. She did so much to make us comfortable, best we have had in rentals. The house was exactly as pictured. We were there the week before Easter, Kandee had the house decorated very nice for Easter. Kandee made sure we had everything we needed. We enjoyed the back yard and the fire pit. We were very comfortable staying here. The house was very clean. The beds were comfortable. We would book with Kandee again.

Such a cool house I wish we had spent more time at the house. My favorite was the front porch swing with the bird bathes you could sit and watch. Easy Uber ride to the parks just a over all great space.

This house has the perfect backyard and playroom for small children and the most well-stocked and equipped kitchen I have ever seen in a vrbo. The owner lives behind the house and can pop over to help with anything you need. She was extremely helpful.

Quaint yet meets all needs - near Downtown Anaheim and Disney
This historic home was perfect for our family. While we only had adults this trip, I can see returning with our adult children and grandkids. Loved all the historic details yet all modern needs met. Close to Downtown Anaheim and Disney. Clean, safe and lots of charm. Our host was wonderful too with timely communication.

Disney Weekend with Grandkuds
We had a wonderful stay! The property was convenient to Disney and very comfortable. It was a short Uber/Lyft to the park entrance so we didn’t need a car. In the house, we had everything we needed and more. It was very well provisioned. We especially enjoyed the outdoor spaces— fire pit, pickle ball, bocce ball, foos ball and old fashioned porch sitting. With our host’s okay, we picked some lemons and made a batch of homemade lemonade. The beds were comfy, the towels plush and plentiful. The whole property was super cute inside and out. The host was very kind and attentive.

Candee was a perfect host and the home was a perfect choice for us to stay in. It was 5minutes from Disneyland and had so much for our 7 year old grandson to do. It has many restaurants within walking distance that are good,too. The stay could not have been better!

Fantastic experience!
Wonderful location, situated just a couple minutes from Disneyland! We used this as our "home base" during our Disneyland vacation, but our only regret is not being able to spend more time in the house! It is beautiful architecturally and beautifully landscaped, not too mention spotlessly clean! The six year old with us absolutely loved the playroom completely with tons of toys and there is plenty of things for adults to enjoy too, like horseshoes, boccie and a firepit in the backyard. Our host was awesome, and available if we needed anything, which we didn't, because this vacation rental has it all. You won't regret it if you stay here!
