For the most part, the Xenia Hotel is very nice but they have issues with elevator and escalator currently that causes some inconvenience temporarily. However, it’s is clean, the staff is top notch from the bellman to the front desk and all at the restaurant. They have a free breakfast buffet that’s to die for with lots of good food that I would say is more of a brunch than breakfast with great food dishes for anytime of day and breakfast such as fresh fruits, desserts, eggs and pancakes. They have it all and it’s complimentary! I love this place as my go to when I return. They also have room service and a coffee shop for after hours along with a small casino that is pretty nice also.

Staff were both friendly and efficient Pool was nice and clean The hotel is shared with an apartment condo complex and the space was not well maintained. The room was ok, and it was not noisy or uncomfortable. Overall the building was a little run down.

We have never been in a hotel where we had to get assistance from hotel engineers to turn on the air conditioner and to check out why there was no hot water. The water heater was not working and we had to go to another room to take showers. Just a hassle staying at this hotel. Another quirk about staying at hotels in the PI is an obsession with “checking the room” before you can check out.As the hotel has my credit card information and a deposit they could recoup any charges if we stole something (the implication). The result is that check out takes forever and makes you mad when you are leaving - the result is that we won’t stay here again.

The property is getting old but still okay with exception of the early morning repair. We were asleep and got Woken up by continued hammering on the adjacent room. I called the front desk thrice before action was taken to stopped the repair. The staff know well in advance a repair is going to be done, they could have room us in another room, Other than the ones where repair was going to be done. And what really was the kicker was I have to call three times before action was taken.
