Large Family stay in August 2025

We stayed in the private suite which was nice for our larger family. It was way bigger than we expected. It was a two bedroom, two bathroom, with a tv living room area and a large kitchen with a deck. Across the street from the mcdonalds which made it easy to get food for our kids. The unit was a little run down with some damage. TV did not have cable but had smart apps to sign into (we didnt end up watching anything)The kitchen faucet was leaking when we used it. There was no blinds in the one room so they let us tape up a garbage bag on the window.

The staff were lovely. The room was ok. The surface of the end table was sticky and the walls of the bathroom needed to be wiped down. Light is the hall were only 1/3 lit. The hotel needs some freshening up. But, again, the staff were very nice.

Staff was very inattentive to me and several other guests, the “breakfast” is bread and coffee, housekeeping skipped my room all 3 nights I was there and had to ask several times for new towels, if you asked staff a question they would look at you with a dumbfounded face and then blurt some generic answer that doesn’t actually answer the question

It was reasonably priced and convenient for us. The property is old. It was clean and very helpful and friendly staff. The towels are quite worn. The curtains need to be replaced, there's safety pins holding them closed. There's 2 good resteraunts very close to it.

Bad was comfortable. I didn't realize it did not have a pool. So that was my own fault and I was disappointed. The hallway And our room had a foot odor to it. The bed was comfortable however it's an old 2 Storey wooden hotel so you can hear everything. The Continental breakfast was pretty weak, we had just come from a different hotel that had the same and they had eggs and sausage bacon along with waffles. This place had nothing basically just cereal and toast juice and some fruit and yogurt and coffee.. glad to have that but that's not really the breakfast we were looking for especially when the price at this place was even more than the one we just went to. It's also kind of out of the way from where other places to eat and drink are situated. It was fine but I'm sure there's more value at other places

I was worried about staying here after reading all the bad reviews (after I booked). But our stay was good. Room 121 was clean, good size, didn’t smell of smoke at all. The beds were comfortable, lots of clean towels and toiletries and a small coffee station. There wasn’t a microwave in the room or hair dryer. The furniture was outdated for sure but was fine. The window screen was cut open but there was a bar in the window to make sure it couldn’t open more than an inch. Front desk staff was really nice and polite. Didn’t stay for breakfast but the breakfast room looked large and clean. Felt safe in the hotel. Bar next door has good food and all was quiet by the time we went to bed. We would stay again.

Was not happy with the stay. Had some random person walk into our room at 6:15am as my family slept. Not sure how that happens, as his key seemed to have worked on our door. The second night was not much better as our neighbours had dogs and they barked most of the night.

Fan, tap, tub plug, towel rack were broken. Hair dryer was missing. Bad smell, poor lighting in hallway and room. Very dingy and outdated. Furniture worn. Way over priced for the quality.

The bed was very soft and not comfortable. Carpets had just been cleaned and were still wet so that when we stepped into the bathroom it was very slippery. Only one chair in the room and no hand towels. Breakfast was not available until 7:30 which is far to late for anybody that is travelling and wants to get on the road early.

I removed the bag from the waste bin so that I could get some ice to cool a beer. Once the ice melted, I poured the water into the sink and it was filthy. Yuck. Our door wouldn't shut without slamming or pushing on it so I got a screwdriver from my car and tightened the hinge screws. Then is closed on it’s own. Everything else was great, and I only mention these items as constructive criticism.

There wasn’t enough towel for the two guest, sheets had holes in them, duvet was dirty , when asked for a new rooom due to issues was told they were booked full and there was no other rooms. Then asked to have the beds remade with clean sheets and was told he didn’t know how to make a bed and handed me bundled up bedding for me to do it myself . The carpets are stains and the chair at the desk had a big stain on the seat . If I could of left I would have

This property is poorly maintained. The hallways are dark and dingy. The room is cheaply furnished. The bedskirt is far too long and crumpled on the floor and a tripping hazard. The mattress is on top of a block. The owners couldn’t even ensure the curtain was in all the curtain hooks. The breakfast wasn’t ample for all guests and one guest was allowed to fill many platefuls and then leave the breakfast room. The stockroom used for breakfast items is a dirty mess. For $200 a night this place is a complete ripoff. We had trouble sleeping as our room was behind a pub and people were talking and shouting until midnight. You’d think it was a charge by the hour establishment. Very poor quality indeed. And to think it is a Wyndham property. I guess Wyndham is just out for a buck regardless of the quality offered. We’ll never go back and will be demanding a refund from Expedia!!!
