The staff is friendly and super helpful. However, the property is outdated and the rooms lack the comfort you expect on a hotel. I was unlucky to be next to a room with a very noisy, nasty, disrespectful and obnoxious family who made my first day a hell. The hotel staff tried to convince that family to behave, but they claimed they owned the property (meaning the room), so they’re entitled to do whatever mess they felt like. I wrote to the hotel, but they didn’t bother to reply. Luckily, I left that hotel and moved to Fasano Hotel where I had an awesome experience.

The room they initially gave us bared no resemblance to the photos on Expedia’s website. It was damp and mouldy, had obstructed view and was generally a massive disappointment. We arrived late and the language barrier made it difficult to rectify. Eventually we got a staff member who spoke English who showed us another room which was equally bad but it was so late we took it. The next day we asked to see more rooms and eventually got one that was acceptable, but still poor (bathroom had cockroaches in it) but I guess it’s a tropical country! They also don’t have mosquito nets which makes zero sense so sleeping was difficult. I had to wait until nearly 14:00 for them to sort out the cable lift down to the beach and then had to be back before 16:00 when it closed. There are also 3 “Portogalo suite hotel“ in the Angra area within 12km of each other so google maps was frustrating and we had to triple check the booking address (highly illogical hotel naming). The breakfast was also vert disappointing. I would avoid this hotel totally, it was obviously grand and nice in the 60’s or 70’s when it was built but is now run down, dated and poorly run.

Photos did not show the reality. This hotel is in a terrible condition and the staff is tired and definitely underpaid. Sad because Im sure it was beautiful 20 years ago.

O hotel está localizado num local lindo , cercado pela natureza . Às instalações são muito antigas , as acomodações precisam de manutenção urgente ! Banheiros com vazamentos , paredes descascadas , louça sanitária quebrada .Só ficamos hospedados porque tínhamos um casamento no local , mas não indicamos .

Quarto muito ruim tudo engatilhado,registros caindo uma prateleira de vidro dentro do box caiu durante o banho da minha filha cotou os dedos nos cacos,ar condicionado de janela só funciona a ventilação não gela,Tv com apenas 3 canais, optamos pela pensão completa porém era servido a lá carte porém só tinha 3 opções e não foi não nos deram direito do almoço nem no check in 14:00hs e nem no check out as 12:00hs. Valor pago compatível de resorts ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Não recomendo

Hotel em péssimas condições! Horrível!
O hotel está em péssimas condições! A mobília do quarto é muito velha, o banheiro é péssimo e com aspecto de sujo. Chuveiro e metais de banho enferrujados. A cortina blackout do quarto não funciona corretamente e pela manhã o sol entra no quarto. Cortinas sujas e caindo aos pedaços. Roupas de cama horriveis. Ar condicionado Velho e muito barulhento. O café da manhã é de quinta categoria. Só nos hospedamos pois a casa da nossa família no condomínio está em obras e pensamos usar o hotel como base apenas para dormir. No entanto a decepção foi total. Nunca mais retorno para aquela espelunca chamada Portogalo Hotel.

Instalações velha, atendimento fraco, local bonito e natureza perfeita. Tive a possibilidade de ver um hospede reclamando de uma cobra dentro do banheiro ontem por volta das 16:30h e a atendente tratando como caso normal, na minha opinião o rapaz precisaria de uma atenção maior por parte da direção do hotel, em nenhum momento eu vi um pedido de desculpa oi coisa do gênero.

Hotel esta em plena decadencia,ja fui outras vezes e superei alguns problemas,dessa vez superou tudo.a comida e pessima,o cafe da manhã muito fraco,o restaurante abre mais nao tem refeicoes,a recreação era excelente, hj em dia a recreadora nao cumpre a programacao e some,a gerente e muito educada,mais nada resolve.o quarto entao e simplesmente apavoroso.nunca mais voltarei,ferias de aborrecimento.
