Not just an overnight stay
Having requested a superior room with a good view, we were bowled over by the incredible views over the pool golf course and miles of countryside from the full length full height opening picture window all along one side of the room. The room itself had all the usual amenities inc kettle,safe,wi fi etc plus a full size fridge, microwave, robes and slippers. Pool area very well kept with heated pool and comfortable loungers. Spa area and jacuzzi also very inviting. Restaurant rather expensive but with fabulous views from almost every table and an extremely talented chef. Recommended for couples of all ages

Worse than it looks like
The hotel itself is nice. Clean, comfort rooms. I also tried their restaurant, typical French kitchen and I personally found the price reasonable. The main problem there is the internet. It just doesn't work. I asked if they have another option (extra pay) but they don't. I couldn't send a single e-mail. I had to use all my mobile data. So be careful, if you ever visit this hotel for business, as I did, mind to have enough mobile data or rent a wireless hotspot router from your rental car company, or choose another hotel. My PSTN connection back to 1999 was 5 times faster than this. In addition I had one expired orange juice in my refrigerator but I didn't pay it after my request for this. Finally, I had to leave one day earlier, but they charged me for the last one too, claiming the cancellation policy, although I had chosen "pay at hotel" option. I have done this many times in the past (departing earlier), during last 1,5 I use hotels.com, and I had no problem at all. That made me of course to book another hotel for the week after my visit there, I also had to inform my company and my colleges not to book to them when we visit our customer there....and hey....I am still waiting the invoice on my e-mail :p

Vi bookede et standard værelse, primært da der var billeder af en altan med stole og bord. Det viser sig at billederne er misvisende, da det værelse vi får IKKE har altan! Vi gør personalet i receptionen opmærksom herpå, men de siger at der at billederne på hotels er fra et premiumværelse, men man får kun et standard. Vi spørger så opgradering, og vi får afvide at vi skal komme igen dagen efter. Det gør vi, men får igen afvide at komme igen… Problemet bliver derfor ikke løst, og det er et stort kritikpunkt fra os. En dag oplever vi at komme forbi vores værelse hvor døren er åben, men der er ingen rengøringspersonale i nærheden. Vi går igen og kommer tilbage en time senere, hvor døren stadig er åben og ingen personale! Det er meget utrygt for os, at man lader værelserne stå åbent ubevogtet så længe. Der var desuden en dag hvor der ikke blev gjort rent. Jeg giver kun 3 stjerner på miljøvenligt da toilettet løb, hvilket ikke er miljøvenligt.

Wir konnten in dem Hotel nicht übernachten, da die Decke des Badezimmers mit Schwarzschimmel übersäht war. Auch das Zimmer war einfach nur furchtbar, es roch modrig und es war sehr feucht, so dass sich wahrscheinlich auch hier bereits Schimmel breit gemacht. Ein anderes Zimmer konnte uns nicht zur Verfügung gestellt werden, da es wohl ausgebucht war.

Nous voulions faire étape sur la route des vacances. Le Domaine de St Clair est la pépite que nous cherchions. Un accueil chaleureux, des chambres confortables, un joli spa très calme, un belle table (pensez à réserver!!) pour dîner et un excellent buffet de petit déjeuner. Tout y est !

très beau séjour
Séjour parfait. L'hôtel est très bien situé. c'est calme , et reposant pour ceux qui souhaite profiter toute la journée de la piscine, et /ou du spa. Le golf est très bien , malgré des restrictions d'eau obligatoire, ce qui va dans le sens de l'éco-responsable. Le restaurant de l'hôtel est vraiment très bon . La brasserie est elle aussi bonne et les prix ne sont pas assommant. Vraiment c'était un très bon séjour et je reviendrai dès que possible seul ou accompagné.
