stay in beautiful Isla
Cottage in centre of the village with a view of the historic church. Isla is a lovely historic village with a couple of bar/restaurants that were really good. The cottage was OK for our stay and a good base to visit the Cantabrian coast and mountains. Good size clean and tidy with plenty of towels and good bedding etc.. It's a little bit dated and needs some TLC to bring it into the expectations of 2023. Had a couple of problems with things that didn't work but lived with that rather than contact the Agent. Mentioned them when we handed the Keys into the office and they said if we'd said earlier it'd have been fixed. We should have given them the chance! No wifi, which was a bit surprising in this day and age. The main picture on the site of the bit glazed sunroom with the church in the background did help sell it to us but turned out that was next door. NB the office to collect the keys is a couple of miles away in Isla Playa. All in all an OK place to stay for what we paid
