The beach is only 200 meters away. With a multitude of water sports (buoy, banana, parasailing, ...)

Do not miss: El Teide, Las Galletas, Los Gigantes, El Medano for its restaurants if you are fond of fish or love kite surfing, this is the beach for surfers.

For young and old, Siam Park (the largest in Europe) Aqualand, the second water park, if you want to swim with the dolphins and learn all about them.

If you like jet skiing we recommend the safari jet ski from Los Gigantes. 60 km of jet-ski where you will surely have the chance to meet dolphins and even whales.

Worth staying good central location
Communication with David (host) good prior to and during stay. Property is in a safe gated area. Nice pool area. Few mins walk from restaurants, pubs, clubs (Veronica's) beach etc. All we need was there. Plenty of towels too which you'll need to put on the bathroom floor as floor tiles get very wet from shower water escaping from cubicle... Out them down or you'll slip. Sofa bed legs bent from previous occupier had to support with coffee table. Tower fan in sofa bed room didn't work so was a bit hot explained this first day but wasn't replaced unfortubately. Kitchen well equipped and nice little balcony area with table and chairs plus BBQ. Note for visitors... Main bedroom with 2 single beds has a ceiling fan... It works from switching on lights in kitchen which puts lights on in sofa bed room... I had to take light bulbs out so the lights weren't on in order to allow my children to have ceiling fan work throughout the night.....put bulbs back in before we left. Apartment had all required and reasonable price. Would comeback again... Hopefully the few small issues would be fixed for next guests.

An accident waiting to happen..
After booking the stay through VRBO, I received a message from David to say that I had to sign a lengthy contract as if I was renting the property and the contract information was incorrect. David sent the keys to the UK and upon arriving in Tenerife I was nothing short of disappointed of the apartment. If you have seen Penguin Bloom then you’ll understand, the balcony is so dangerous and rotted that if someone fell into it, they would die! The bathroom window had tongs in so you could open it! There was mould in the shower, the towels smelt so awful I had to buy a new one due the damp. There is no air con in the property, the pictures on the advert are completely different to what you get on arrival. The WiFi didn’t work, the fan didn’t work unless you had all the lights on and even then it barely moved! The front door gets stuck and the light outside the apartment doesn’t work and on the steps up to the door the tiles are broken. Totally disappointed in our stay and would not recommend. The location is fine if you like the hustle and bustle of Playa, the complex is well kept, the pool is warm and the poolside bar and bartender (Luca) were lovely!

Lovely stay
Apartment was great clean everything you would need for a self-catering holiday . Communication with David was great always answered any queries promptly. Great location near plenty of bar and shops.Will be back in September.

Pleasant budget stay
Great location of the apartment in a nice complex with good pool area and nice gardens around it. Very good kitchen and all the utensils you need for a stay of 10 days or more . Bedroom is OK maybe needs a little updating. Living room a bit small but that's just the way the apartment is built which also means no proper natural light which at this time of year means it's quite dark most of the time you would maybe use it. All in all it was a good budget stay in a very good location in a apartment that does the job.

Great Budget Getaway
David our host, was lovely and very quick to respond if we had any issues. The apartment actually looked better than the photos online and we were pleasantly surprised. We had stayed in the same apartments before (the one below actually) so we knew that the pool and grounds were nice and very well maintained. The apartment is very close to the beach and the area offers loads of bars and restaurants, it’s also close by to supermarkets and tourists attractions. If I were to give a bit of constructive criticism to David, it would be to invest in some decent bedding, to make sure that there was basic things like toilet paper left in the apartment for your guests. However- overall a nice stay (apart from the rain 😂) and there have obviously been a good few updates to the apartment, thank you David!

We had a lovely holiday in this apartment in the secure complex of Paraiso Royal. Owner David was very easy to communicate with and did everything possible to make our stay a perfect. We would definately book this apartment again .Thanks David.

Paraiso pleasant.
The apartment is well located, with plenty of bars and restaurants in easy reach, and a superb supermarket nearby. There’s a short walk to the beach front. The property is well equipped and very comfortable, and we would certainly consider returning.

We stayed here the last week in April 2018. The apartment is a little bit close to the road area so you do get a bit of noise. It is clean but quite dark. The only windows are in the bedroom. It is a little dated and would benefit from some upgrading, all in all a very basic apartment..

Two minutes from lots of bars & restaurants. The apartment was very clean, though the shower curtain could do with replacing. Nice size balcony with table & chairs which gets the sun afternoon & evening. The pool is very cold but the excellent pool bar makes up for that. 😎 There were no channels on the TV during our week & from the owner’s response this is not unusual. Plenty of local bars had WiFi, so none here was not a problem. Heard that pickpockets are rife in the area... witnessed one distraught couple so be careful when outside.

In need of modernisation
The location & security of the property was good. The pool area & pool bar were superb. But the apartment needs to be overhauled. The electric kettle did not work & the TV couldnt get channels. There was a shortage of electric sockets. None in bedroom & only one in the living room that had an extension cable with 4 sockets on. The shower curtain was badly stained round the bottom & reeded replacing. The safety rail on the balcony was rotten in places & looked unsafe.

A number of problems and left a bad taste
The apartment offers what is basically needed for a short stay. However, the sofa bed was a big problem. It was found with two bars fallen out of their sockets which we had to repair ourselves. We had only young children sleeping on it but even they found it very uncomfortable. We would not have been able to sleep on it ourselves. Therefore I would say the apartment is only really suitable for two persons. It was also very inconvenient only to have one set of keys. The location in the "British section" of Playa de las Americas is not the best but it is nevertheless very convenient as equidistant from the nicer parts of Los Cristianos and the Costa Adeje. Of course if you want to party at those late night bars then it is perfect. The distances are anyway not great. After leaving we received an email from the owner stating that we had left the door open, broken a shelf in the fridge, and not left, as requested, €40 in cash for the person taking care of the apartment. I contested this and the owner was extremely unpleasant to me on the telephone. Mistakes can happen but even if, which I doubt, we did leave the door open I consider it very unlikely that someone would have entered before the housekeeper got there and stolen the money which we certainly did leave. For me, in any case, this procedure is not a normal one and I would encourage anyone booking the apartment in the future not to follow it and simply allow the €40 to be deducted from the deposit, or risk paying twice. The overall message is that it may for some be a good choice, but buyer beware.

Great 2 weeks
Just back from a great 2 weeks in this apartment. Excellent location close to all amenities in a lovely gated development. Good pool and pool bar food excellent. Nice veranda which gets the sun from mid-afternoon. The best reference I can give is that we have already rebooked for next year.

Great apartment, Great location, Great facilities
The apartment is lovely clean has everything that you need for a holiday and more. Was very easy to book nothing was an issue. It is very accessible to all the amenities a short walk from the town centre and also not far to go to the next town by foot at las Cristianos. The pool at the apartments was very clean and safe for little ones to go to the pool themselves without the worry of them getting lost as it is all enclosed and you need a key to get out. The bar is great €2 for a beer and the food is really good and reasonable prices.

The best location in Tenerife.
Lovely apartment close to the beaches, restaurants and bars for reasonable price. Would recommend to everybody who doesn't like to stay in hotel for short or even for long term rental. Travel agents are all around so renting car, booking trips or water sports can be made within few minutes. Also easy access from airport if you take a bus number 450 for 4 Euro it stops 200 meters from apartment or taxi costs around 20 Euro.

Upon arrival at the apartment after midnight found no toilet paper! Areas of the apartment were dirty and we had to clean up. Refrigerator should have been condemned with rust all around the bottom , grime all around the seal and no door on the freezer section hence items below froze. Keys were sent by post from Belgium and had to be posted back upon return. Difficult booking procedures. Apartment in need of refurbishment when compared with others on the complex.

Great location - well equipped
We have stayed in PDLA many times but this was our first time at the Paraiso Royal. There was a small mix up with the keys when we arrived but it was soon resolved. The apartment is well equipped and in a great location. The grounds and pool were well kept, there were plenty of sun loungers and a great little pool bar. I would definitely stay there again.

Superb Location
A fantastic place to stay for 10 days of Winter Sun. Apartment is great, very secure as is the complex as a whole. The location couldn't be better. A very short walk to many restaurants and bars, with the beach also very close. The pool area and bar/restaurant is fantastic and very quiet. No need to fight for sun loungers. All in all, I would recommend this apartment for a great time away in the sun.

Goed appartement in nette maar drukke buurt
Het complex wordt dagelijks goed onderhouden. Het appartement zelf heeft een upgrade nodig, maar alle voorzieningen waren aanwezig. Wat bij ons vooraf bekend was is de drukke buurt, veel geluid en lawaai tijdens de zomernachten. Dit deel van de zuidkust is erg druk en Engels georiënteerd. Het contact met de verhuurder is goed.
