First Time
The property was just as advertised. Only issue was when we arrived the access code didn’t work. Calling the Verbo number made it worse. After waiting for over ten minutes it sounded like a computer picked up and repeated the question a couple of times then said no response I’m authorized to hang up.

Great location! A short drive/Uber from downtown and lots of restaurants!
This was a great house for a small group of friends to spend a weekend in Asheville! The house was very comfortable for 6 adults and a short drive or Uber from downtown. There are also plenty of restaurants and grocery stores within a mile if you aren't wanting to go all the way into downtown. There are two comfortable sitting rooms and a great porch to enjoy coffee in the mornings. Would stay here again!

Sweet House with Awesome Porch!
This house is even better than it looks online. There's a gravel road leading to the house which might be deceiving; that is, you might wonder about the quality of a place on such a road. Don't! It is a fantastic little place. Very clean and spacious inside. And that porch! It overlooks a beautiful greenway. Perfect for reading, relaxing, hanging with family and friends.

Excellent! Nice, Clean, Great Location
I was very pleased with this property! Excellent location, just a few short minutes from downtown, and near several other popular areas. The house was immaculate, with plenty of bedroom and living space. Two large dining tables and a large bar in the kitchen provides space for even large groups to gather. The roomy front porch was a great extra. All new, modern appliances, a gorgeous walk-in shower, a jetted tub, two huge flat-screen televisions in the separate living room areas, wi-fi included also. It would have been nice to have televisions in the bedrooms, but that's just a small detail. The property owner was very flexible and willing to allow us to change dates at the last minute, also. Highly recommend!

Great experience!
I rented this property for a reunion with a few old friends. It was spacious and clean, perfect for our needs. The road directly outside the house is a steep gravel road, but the place is only a 10 minute drive from downtown.

Beautiful house in a mixed neighborhood
I really liked the house and the view from the porch overseeing the golf course. The songs of the birds from the trees was beautiful. The porch was relaxing and wonderful in the morning and evening. The house is new and large and clean and very comfortable. However, the road coming to the house is on a short dirt road along side a large car repair and other businesses. The approach to the house does not give a very good impression that the neighborhood is safe. We didn't have any problems at all but we were not comfortable walking anywhere away from the house. We easily drove to the Biltmore and the Art District and along the river. If coming back to Asheville, we would definitely consider staying again.

Good location; bad lighting. Did not feel homey.
This home is spacious and in a great location (very close to West Asheville and downtown). However, we found the home did not feel like a place where people would live. I saw a different review about a lack of lamps, so I sent the host a message prior to booking. I was assured the owner would be purchasing more lamps prior to our stay. When we arrived, we realized there were no lamps in any of the living spaces, and there were only two lamps in the entire house (two of the bedrooms had a lamp, the third did not). The host was quick to respond and offered to bring a lamp over the next evening. We ended up purchasing a few cheap lamps in town. Even with two table lamps the kitchen/living room space was either very dark or abrasively bright (the overhead lighting was awful). We were looking forward to evenings playing games at the table and couldn't enjoy the space because of how dysfunctional the lighting was. Additionally, the third bedroom has no furniture besides the two beds. No lamp, no nightstand, no dresser. It might make a great room for kids, but as an adult, it was strange. It is not misrepresented on the listing photos, but I didn't notice how weird it was until I was sleeping in the room and didn't have a bedside table to put my phone on. We loved the location in terms of proximity to places we wanted to go (there was some noise from the maintenance of the golf course a few of the mornings we were there), but we would not stay at this property again.

Secluded City Getaway
This home is in the perfect location. Offering beautiful golf course views on top of a hill and only being a rocks throw away from the heart of the city. The house was ideal for quietness and privacy. Also, the house is very spacious with a huge back porch and ample sleeping arrangements. Definitely will be back again! Thank you for an amazing stay!

Yearly trip to NC
The house was great! Very clean and comfortable. Perfect lay out for our family. 2 bedrooms all the way in the back of the house for us! My husband and I were able to stay close to the kids and have a nice separation from my in-laws. Perfect for quiet nap times for my 2 yr old! And the In-Laws got there own space and bathroom away from 2 crazy kids! The kitchen was perfect and had all the space and amenities we needed. The back deck was wonderful too! Sofas were comfortable and well taken care of (as was the rest of the house). Some VERY minor constructive criticism/suggestions, I wish there were some hooks by the sliding door in the kitchen for jackets and bags, so we didn’t have to pile things up on chairs and the floor. I also wish there was a towel bar in the back bathroom, other than the bar used for the shower curtain. And a box spring in the one bedroom in the back, would have made sleeping a little less painful. But like I said just some very small things that may not matter to anyone else. I would definitely recommend this house!

Excellent stay in a great house
First time staying in Asheville, this spot was close to everywhere we wanted to hit, fit us all well without feeling cramped and the pictures do not do the porch justice. Mornings were spent taking coffee out on there. Very nice would recommend to anyone coming to visit Asheville

Okay but no privacy
We stayed here for a meetup in Asheville and were seeking a place close to downtown. The house location is in an industrial area on a dirt road that needs repair. The driveway fit two cars and backing out required a little patience since it is tight space. There is a grocery store, gas station, and a few places to grab a bite to eat nearby. The actual house is clean. The kitchen had many items essential for cooking and baking. Appliances were clean and easy to use. The HVAC system never turns off and you will hear it running in master. There are no table lamps and lighting is inadequate in areas such as bedroom and family rooms with only an overhead light being a fan. The biggest complaint was the lack of privacy. Owner has Ring spotlight cameras that turn on to record via motions and sounds on the covered deck and front yard. We have Ring cameras at home for the same reason the owner does. Security. However, any place outside you would sit is subjected to bright blinding lights since the cameras are triggered. The cameras record video and audio so this also feels invasive. Someone in my party covered the one on back deck because the spotlights covers the entire covered deck and every movement set it off as we were sitting outside trying to enjoy the the nicest evening projected for our stay. A text from owner was sent immediately to not tamper with. I understand the policy but it makes the back porch unenjoyable when any movement produces a blinding light and know it’s being recorded, watched, and possibly listened to. Owner said she would turn off but motion lights remained on. We closed the blinds in the kitchen and family room since they shine in and I avoided using deck as it didn’t feel very relaxing. The back overlooks the train tracks and part of the golf course. It is obvious the owners want to maintain their home and I appreciate that. They have strict rules: no eating or drinking in the rooms, hand wash pots, pans, and knives, no noise after 10 PM, do not move the trash cans, etc. We don’t eat in our rooms and hand wash those items, so no big deal for us. Easy check out and check in. We notified Abby to let her know we were leaving a day early due to weather.
