Fairytale stone cottage

Storybook stone cottage is an absolute GEM! Only a 7 minute drive to downtown. The home is loaded with charm and features like Arts & Crafts wainscoting and an 1850's mantle. Large yard is extremely private and features many unique types of flora. Three bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Enjoy sunsets from your westward facing sunroom, a cup of morning coffee on the stone patio out front! The home is located a short walk away from Woodfin River Park and French Broad River access.

The home was built in 1910 by the same mason who built the Biltmore House. It was the original estate in the area with over 9 acres of land surrounding it and it has stood the test of time. Over the last 100 years, the land around the home has been sold and neighboring homes have been built into a beautiful mountain living community.

You will have absolute privacy and access to the entire home. There are 3 queen beds and a pull out couch with a thick queen mattress.

Perfect for our group
We spent Christmas at the property, everything was wonderful. It was close to Asheville activities, yet for enough away to enjoy the peaceful environment. After having made many trips to the area, this is our favorite place to stay.

Fairy Tale Cottage
The property was lovely. The street signs could have been better. There was not a street sign for the Stoney River Path. The cottage was very nice and roomy. We had some issues getting in the house, but the customer service person was very nice and accomodating. We were late getting there and had to have help contacting the host but after the contact, all went very well and all issues were resolved. Would definitely stay there again. Would love to go back in the spring. There are a few things that could be improved on such as more seating in the living room area; but other than that, is was a very pleasant stay. Area was nice and quiet and close to all that we wanted to do.

Amazing Home Close to Downtown Asheville and Salvage Station concert venue
What a beautiful home. Pictures don’t do it justice. Super quiet area close to everything. One of the cleanest properties we have ever stayed in. Bedding was amazing and home was step back in time to amazing architecture and stonework that you don’t see. 12 min from downtown and 6 minutes to Salvage Station. Four small brewery’s located just down the road. So glad we found this amazing home

Weekend Getaway
We really enjoyed our stay at the house. Plenty of room for our group of 5, it’s in close proximity to downtown Asheville, and was only 15 minutes from most of the activities we had planned for the weekend. Our group would recommend staying in this house again.
