This property was great for our annual family gathering. The view was impressive, the house was well equipped, and clean. One item of difficulty was that as well as everything was labeled or spelled out in check-in/check-out, the TV off the kitchen had numerous remotes that took a good period of time to figure out, instructions would have been helpful. The evenings were cool and we attempted to use the fire pit one night, but it seems that the valve wasn't working correctly, and the pit would not light. Overall, as a family, we would enjoy returning to this home.

Great, well equipped, spacious house in a very convenient neighborhood with a nice view and close enough to town. There was enough space that each couple had some privacy. We call the rental company for a few minor concerns and they were very very and responsive. The only negative would be a strong odor that we thought was coming from the first bedroom when you enter the house. Our guests could not sleep there. It smelled like mothballs.other than that, we would certainly rent this property again

I had to take a full month before submitting my honest response to this property because there was a sour taste in my mouth from it. 1. Upon arrival, we opened the front door and the smell was terrible. It smelled like mothballs. Not the best “welcome to the property”. 2. The hot tub wasn’t working properly and so we had someone come to the house to fill it with hot water but when we decided to go in it, it of course didn’t stay warm because there was no heater. This was frustrating because a few days before arriving I messaged within the VRBO app asking about the hot tub and if it was working and didn’t get a response. 3. One of the rooms in the basement smelled like sewer coming through the bathroom area which again was very alarming! 4. There was plenty of space for our guests but am saddened that I booked this place. The pictures of it look great but I definitely wouldn’t say it is exceptional.

Fabulous home in the mountains but close to Asheville!
Luxurious home with comfortable beds, huge, well appointed kitchen, very spacious rooms. The home was perfect for our family member who is disabled and uses a power wheelchair. The accessible entrance is through the kitchen. Our niece, who is a classically trained pianist, enjoyed the fabulous piano…we all loved singing along with her. Don’t hesitate to book this VRBO rental!

Beautiful home! A little tricky finding this gem, but once we did it was surprisingly convenient to town, grocery, etc. Had one small issue which was attended to right away--Yonder very responsive. Just be aware there is just one towel per person for the week so you may need to do laundry (detergent provided). They also provide pool towels and starter coffee. Pool IS heated which was great. Furnishings well maintained and nicely decorated. Beds comfortable. One of downstairs bedrooms is really a MIL suite and nicely separated, which was perfect for my adult daughter who invited two friends and they had their own area for late evenings. Would definitely return and highly recommend.

Gorgeous mountain home with tons of space and amenities. There were 8 of us total and we had plenty of room and were very comfortable. We had an issue with some strange odors but the property manager sent someone to address. Plenty of kitchen supplies to cook a nice dinner in and large dining room table made it possible for us to all eat together. Would love to come back in the summer to enjoy the outdoor areas. Definitely recommmed!

We booked Mountain Modern for a 3 generation family vacation. This home is in a quiet, small and lovely neighborhood with beautiful views of the mountains at sunset. The children continue to call it "the mansion". The entire home has been recently updated and the furnishings were not only lovely, but very comfortable as well. While we were there we booked an in home chef "Southern Hospitality" with Mark Spangenthal. This was a highlight of the vacation. Mark was warm, professional and amazing. I highly recommend adding this to your vacation plans!

Perfect place to stay in Asheville for a group. Sunrises and Sunsets were perfect from the Living Room and screened in porch. Kitchen was very large and perfect for group dinners every evening. Kitchen had everything. Highlight was a group of 6 black bears, including a few little ones that strolled on the drive behind the house. We did have a beeping from the alarm panel on the last night, but the property manager responded right away and the alarm tech was there in 10 minutes and fixed. Lovely home.
