Fantastic stay at this beautiful inn, rooms were lovely and the fogs was exceptional! Staff very welcoming and friendly with take away breakfast offered as we were leaving early the following morning. Would definitely recommend!
This hotel has a beautiful village location, the rooms though small are well appointed and immaculately clean. Food was of an exceptional standard (lamb suet pudding being one of the best things I've eaten)and all staff were very pleasant and helpful
Really nice reception service, pub very welcoming and service very good. Evening meal excellent and again service very good. Only downside was lack of hot water.
The staff went out of their way to make our stay unforgettable. We were leaving before breakfast the next day so they arranged a breakfast goodybag for us to take.
Food is delightful. A perfect overnight stay on our way to France
The food was amazing but the stars of the show were the staff. Every single one of them was engaging, smiley and efficient.
The stay was great and that was down to the fact that they had thought of everything with regards to their guests’ comfort. Even though our room was above the pub, there wasn’t much noise.
We were only planning on eating in the pub one night but we ended up eating both nights as the food was so good.
If you fancy splashing out then have the fillet steak - I think it’s the best meal I’ve ever had!
Room was decorated and fitted with excellent attention to detail. Food, service and atmosphere in the pub were all outstanding. Would highly recommend.
Lovely stay, brilliant staff, very welcoming.
Premises were excellant, great decor with very fine food.
Definitely will have a return visit and highly recommend.
We stayed in the family room for 1 night with 2 children (2&5)
The set up was perfect and the girls were so excited to sleep in bunk beds!
Lots of lovely special touches like chocolate and flapjack treats left on the pillow and rubber ducks for the girls to play with in the bath.
We ate dinner in the restaurant m, it was delicious!
We left early in the morning before breakfast, but staff left each of us a breakfast pack up to take on our way!
Wonderful hotel, would not hesitate to stay again!
Wonderful place to stay. Staff extremely helpful and friendly - nothing was too much trouble. Bed really comfortable, room very pretty and quiet. Fab breakfast too.
Lovely place in a nice village. This is a return visit as we liked it so much first time.
Excellent menu and really great food.
Stayed in converted stable room and it was lovely and cool despite it being very warm outside.
We will return.
The New Flying Horse is a really quaint little pub with lovely rooms. Very comfortable beds, clean and nicely decorated. Kettle and everything else you might need along with friendly and helpful staff.
The only thing that brought the rating down was the fact that they weren’t serving any food the night we were staying - a Sunday night with the Monday being a bank holiday. We chose to book a pub with rooms mainly because of the convenience of having dinner and a bed in the same place, something which really helps when you have two kids. On the morning of our arrival we woke to an email informing us that the restaurant would only be serving lunch - not very helpful when you’ve already paid for the hotel room and are due to arrive in a few hours time.
Other than that - all good!
