Adnantages of the house
1. very quιet
2. airy, with stunning views of the Marina and Gialos (east of the Castle)
3. There is possibility to host 5 persons, fully equipped kitchen, living room, TV, etc.
4. Close to the house just in front of the 9 small churches 5 minutes walk the is a nice small taverna named Apanemia. Almost at the same distance in front of Megali Panagia church there is another nice taverna called Karai.
5. the house is situated In the historic district of Kastro, with very interesting architectural structures. Just below the castle, just 100 meters from the entrance
6. Very close to the central square Mili (windmills) and shopping center, where take place all cultural events... About 200 m
7. Very close (300 m) to the interesting church of Portareitisas, built by Saint Anthimos
Disadvantages:
1. The nearest point, that can be approached by car about 200 meters, but the walk to the house is a little hard (uphill)
2. the square about 150 meters, but as to all homes close to Castle uphill (good legs are needed)
Near the Chora (castle) the accessible beaches are Pera Gialos (15 min walk), Livadi (20 minutes walk) and Tzanaki (small but very nice (35 minutes walk). 3rd Marmari, Steno, Plakes, Maltezana (Schinonta). From Maltezana (Analipsi) somebody can walk to the beaches of Blue Harbor /Galasio Limanaki (15 minutes) and Karekli (tiny but nice).
The beaches of Agios Konstantinos with bar and tavern, Vatses with bar and some delicacies, Kaminakia with the tavern of Linda (if you go mention my name) are also very interesting - these are accessible by car or motorbike.
For food in Chora Agoni Grammi (mention my name to Maroula): Traditional tavern, on the pedestrian street opposite the Mills. Excellent food and friendly service at good prices. APANEMIA: Traditional taverna very close to the house ....just in front of the 9 small churches. Antikastro, also close to the house opposite of megali Paragia church. Agoni Grammi , the owner Maroula is a good friend of mine, mention my name. Astropelos in Livadi, also Maria is a friend. Ageri is also very Good .......everywhere you can eat good..
