Fenomenal! Habitacion familiar amplio para 2 adultos y 2 peques. Super limpio, facil aparcar, buenas vistas del pueblo. La cena excelente paletilla de cordero muy rico y bizcocho casera para desayuno. Muy amables y educados. Todo perfecto.

This place is incredible in so many ways. If you are in the area, then spend a night. The value is much more than what it seems

Great hotel ,family run.very narrow roads through town to hotel but they send an email giving best route. Hotel breakfast buffet with usual Spanish selection . Evening meal excellent with wine and water, a bit pricier than normal . Ate one night in town had difficulty finding a restaurant had to make do wth salad and tapas. Town very run down. The Valor chocolate factory does not do tours. Not a lot to do but relax or walk up and down the steep roads in town.The town has a swimming pool. Nice room with air con ,good view from window. Shower only in bathroom. Wifi very slow but owner said fibre was coming !

A step back into spanish History
We loved this quaint boutique hotel. Yes, it was a castle converted into a hotel. Although rustic from the outside the insides were very nicely done. The castell was located in the center of a very small town where the people were lovely. Just a smile and a Buenas Tardes elicited a smile and a remark back. This is "small town" Spain. Of course you can expect nobody to speak English. We were OK with that as we now basic Spanish. The husband and wife owners bent over backwards to make our stay a wonderful one. Would highly recommend them

This "hotel" is unreal. We didn't want to lose our reservation, First our GPS couldn't locate it, we drove to Calatayud and there we started to see Ateca. Fortunately it was still daylight, there was only one indication for the hotel, we had to ask, and ask the inhabitants, the roads were tortuous, we kept on asking ourselves "should we go in there?" Even when we got there, a Parking sign was the sign that we were in the right place. Needless to say, we were the only unfortunate clients. A worker, Antonio, tried hard, the hotel belongs to the municipal. the room was bare, the breakfast was continental, no egg! We had a lot of difficulty getting out of there and told ourselves never again will we stop in a place that GPS doesn't recognize. Expedia shouldn't have this hotel in its inventory. We kept on telling ourselves if Expedia carries it, it should be acceptable. NOT ACCEPTABLE AT ALL.

What a view
Stunning hotel with history and great views. A large comfortable room and bathroom. Be brave driving through the narrow streets as the view & hotel are worth it. Park at the top and enjoy. We stayed just overnight at the end of the season but appear to have great facilities for outside enjoyment for the summer.

Perfecto hotel para visitar monasterio de piedra, amables, buena comida en restaurante, pequeñito y rural, íbamos a Madrid y paramos a ver monasterio de piedra de camino, ideal para hacer esto, recomendaría siempre

Un hotel curioso cerca del Monasterio de Piedras
Es un hotel para hacer noche cerca del Monasterio de Piedra, un hotelito que está en un antiguo castillo, muy bien restaurado como hotel, muy buen precio y un buen desayuno (la cena no nos salió lo esperado, pero estuvo pasable). De paso para ver el monasterio de Piedra es un lugar estratégico, y también para el balneario de Alama de Aragon.

La atención de los anfitriones fenomenal, todo perfecto, tanto la estancia cómo la cena, un lugar encantador, para repetir, sin duda. Totalmente recomendable la cena al aire libre en el patio.

perfecto para terminar nuestras vacaciones
Como parece (lo vimos andando por pie después) que la indicación para llegar al hotel en coche solo se pone en el otro sentido, aparcamos abajo. Pero tanto la recepción como la estancia fueron muy agradables. Además, cenamos en la terraza. Habitación amplia, práctica; desayuno genial.

El hotel lo regenta una pareja excepcional, muy atentos con todo, un lugar maravilloso, animense! Y no duden en alojarse aky. Muy cómodo, ni un ruido y restaurante con comida expectacular. Muy bien situado para visitar el entorno al monasterio de piedra y otras rutas preciosas
