Wonderful hotel in the a great location!

Excellent hotel right in the heart of Athens! From the valets, front desk and all team members, the experience was fantastic! Breakfast Buffet (lots to offer) on the enclosed roof top with stunning views of the Acropolis was a delightful touch. I had a rented vehicle and having parking underground was very convenient and also kept the car cool in the hot summer days. My friends also loved the different cold “juice” beverage by the front desk –just had to mention how lovely it was coming back in the lte afternoon from the heat. Would definitely stay at Elia Ermou again :)

Just ok.

Pros. On the main street, close to centre and attractions Smiling officers. Clean Good breakfast Cons. Doesnt feel worth for the money paid. Narrow incity hotel. Room design not good. Feels small room. High Humming sound all night from central AC even if you close yours.not good for long stays

I recently stayed at Elia Ermou Hotel and had a mostly wonderful experience. The hotel itself is clean, stylish, and well-located. Check-in and check-out were smooth and pleasant, thanks to the professional and welcoming reception staff. The bell boys were also fantastic, always polite, attentive, and helpful with luggage and directions. Most of the staff were welcoming and helpful, especially housekeeping and some of the restaurant administrators. However, I did have a negative experience with one of the concierges, I believe her name was Zoe. She was short, with very long black curly hair, and unfortunately came across as aggressive and unprofessional, which was disappointing given the otherwise high standard of service. I also want to mention an issue with the one of the hostess at the restaurant. While some of the restaurant staff especially the hostess were great, the one particular hostess was rather blunt and unwelcoming. This made the dining experience less enjoyable than expected. Despite these issues, I still think the hotel offers great value, it felt warm, welcoming, and generous, unlike some other places that often come across as overly commercial or greedy. The atmosphere was relaxed yet elegant, and you truly get the sense that the hotel and most of the team works hard to provide a positive guest experience. With better consistency in staff training, especially for guest-facing roles, the hotel could easily reach a five-star level of service!

We had room 613 that is the suite that has a hot tub in the middle of the room. The best feature was the corner balacony with nothi g above us and a clear view of the Acropolis. FYI hot tub fits one unless you want to sit on the side seats to soak your feet. BreKfast was excellent and ruined us for the breakfast at our next hotel! Bacon, crepes, chocolate croissants, honeycomb, and more. This room was pricey but the view and perfect location just a block from Parliament was worth the splurge for us. We walked everywhere and the staff was quite attentive. Also had an excellent burger at the hotel restaurant.

The hotel is in a great location—right on a main street near shops, restaurants, Plaka, the Parthenon, etc. The staff were friendly, and the room was a decent size. The views from the rooftop were lovely. That said, the stay fell short in several ways. Cleanliness could have been better, with some dirt on the walls and floors that hadn’t been properly cleaned. The bathroom had no hooks for robes or towels, and the area was quite noisy. I was there for a birthday and had informed the hotel in advance and at check-in, but there was no acknowledgment—no note, call, or gesture. It's a small detail, but it felt like a missed opportunity to add a personal touch. The view from the room was of an abandoned-looking building—not ideal, though not something the hotel can control. Overall, while the location and staff were positives, the lack of attention to detail means I wouldn’t stay here again.
