1. Booked 2 double queen rooms, at check in I was told the last rooms of that type were ready given to another group. I had to get two rooms with 1 bed even though I had 6 people for 4 nights.
2. The pool was filthy, seemed like the pool equipment (pumps) were out of service. Bunch of dead insects around the perimeter of the pool. Chairs and cushions in the pool area were dirty, most likely never been cleaned.
3. Rooms need a deep cleaning. Curtains and carpets had stains that should be spot cleaned.
4. Housekeeping removed dirty towels but didn’t replace them with new ones and also left a dirty cleaning rag in our room on a day we didn’t request service. Not sure why they were in the room and didn’t get any explanation from the front desk.
5. Had a TV in a room that didn’t work. Asked for it to be fixed and was given a remote by someone at the front desk and was told to troubleshoot it myself. Asked for someone to check it out the next day and no one vet showed up.
6. One of the parking deck entry doors to the elevators was broken. Anyone could walk into the hotel at any time. A security issue like this should be high priority; seemed like it’s been in need of repair for a while.
Overall the main positive about this property is its location. It’s in a prime location so I’m sure it’s usually busy. However, it needs a thorough deep cleaning and basic maintenance.
