The staff was extremely friendly, but the room was not as expected. The phone in the room did not work and the sockets were old. The lamps only stayed on briefly before blinking ,making noise and going out. Water pressure in shower was nonexistent and the water got warm at best. The shower head is mounted downward so you have to stand in one spot. Doesn't spray outward.

The quality is far less than previous visits. I guess based on the events nearby at the time, it can be quite chaotic and low class. Staff members at check in were short, rude, sarcastic and couldn't even smile once. There are so many ways that you can tell someone that the hotel has a $200 deposit that they hold on your card. You can see it really nicely and even look a little empathetic . I told them I wasn't charged at the last time and it was a simple statement and the kind of response I got was so confrontational. It's almost like she had an attitude that she had to be working that they are just mad in general. Not the friendly customer service I had the very first time I went. The whole ambience is different. A lot of people were sitting in the bar area so I went to go sit as well while I was waiting on them to straighten out something with the room and a guy from behind the bar approach me and abruptly said, we're closed. He wanted me to know I'm not allowed to sit there. The people who were there were customers that were finishing up previous meals and drinks for lunch I guess. Nonetheless, I find that they are very unprofessional and rude. The only good thing about this place is the aesthetics and the neighboring restaurants and Parking and the church right across the street which is all convenient. You can walk to many places with a 10 minute walk and not have to really use Uber or Lyft. The bathrooms were not the cleanest. The sinks were sluggish.
