The shower drain was flooded, took several minutes for the water to go down as it was pooling on one side and comes out of the shower. The corner of the shower was dirty - a spray of bleach can help. The sink was so dirty too.
But the bed was comfortable and staff were nice.
This hotel does not count with parking facilities. You have to park on a public parking lot for which you have to pay. The hotel have a sign that say that they will validate your parking ticket but that’s not true. The reception personnel never explained that.
Nice property and centrally located. Issues with parking. Cheaper to just pay Wilson parking structure for the daily rate than paying the hotel itself. Staff unsure how it all worked. So if you stay just pay at the Wilson pay stand and not through Holiday Inn

The rooms are small but clean with a comfortable bed. The staff at reception was very good.
The property is In a very convenient location in downtown Auckland. It is walkable to restaurants, shopping, the ferry terminal, and most things that any tourist would need. The staff were attentive and very flexible with our needs. An excellent option for those Who don’t want to pay a fortune, but stay in an exceptional place.
This was the NICEST holiday inn I have ever stayed at. The staff was SO EXTREMELY wonderful and helpful in every aspect. The room was gorgeous and it was in the center of town walking distance from everything. Could not rave about this property more.
