Unfortunately needs some work
For the most part, things were fine. The check in process was straight forward, the place was clean. The listing/advertisement itself is not entirely accurate, for example it advertises a balcony and an oven, neither of which are present. The real downer, however, is that the house in general doesn't seem up to standard with the wiring/electricity. There is a family renting upstairs and as soon as they came home from work, it was just over for everyone. Power was just continuously shutting off (first time it happened, my mum was there looking after.our one year old and it went off 8x in 3 hours because someone used the washing machine). This continued over the entire night and the next morning, with something just as basic as boiling the jug. It became obvious very quickly nobody could use more than one electrical thing either upstairs or downstairs without it tripping out the whole house. This obviously then became super restricting as we hardly ever get time away.from the farm and we couldn't then use like, the tv and a heater at the same time. The family upstairs were lovely and we felt really badly for them being so restricted in their own home. I feel bad leaving a negative review but I do think it needs some serious work done to it before it continues to be booked out to people. The general bookabach company were fantastic and when I let them know what was happening. By the next morning they had transferred us to a new place and it brightened our weekend right up.
