Could be a lot better
Hotel is rather tired, did the job though. Restaurant is rather overpriced. Service however was excellent - especially Jay. Spend a few quid and would be a cracking spot
Lovely location with Loch Ness glimpses from bedroom on first floor. Meals were very good, both dinner at night and breakfast in the morning. Staff were courteous and efficient.
There wasn't really anything wrong with the room apart from being right at the top of the hotel looking out at a tree.
It was more a case of never go back as it's spoilt the memory of our visit 12 yrs ago.
The food was ok but nothing special
Stayed for two nights. Very enjoyable stay, staff very friendly and helpful. Had dinner there one night which was nice, and we enjoyed breakfast. Location was great, room comfortable.

Must try harder - what a disappointment
I note a large number of 10* reviews and cannot accept those as genuine. I've stayed in this hotel on 4 previous occasions and always been really happy with it. But the dinner this time was terrible and breakfast just about ok. The bar was only stocked with products you could buy at the local convenience store and had only one type of gin. Gone is the traditional Scottish country house ambiance, replaced by pizza and empty fireplaces by the new owner. Very disappointing :(
It is a lovely 3 star hotel in a quiet spot on Lochness. As long as you have a car it is a great base to explore the surrounding area. The staff are friendly and helpful.
Each room is named after a Scottish Loch. The carpets are tartan colours. The food is amazing. The friendly staff are courteous and helpful. The hotel exudes charm. Loch Ness is visible from many rooms and is within walking distance. The sunrises over Loch Ness were glorious. I’d love to stay there again. A lucky find for us!

Dated property but had a bit of charm. Could use a freshening up (paint, carpeting) but good location and nice break. Was surprised that there was no lift…would have been problematic for someone with mobility limitations but nice stay overall
Overall, this is probably my favorite hotel I have ever been to. Staff was top notch, breakfast was incredible, room was very comfortable and clean. Easy walk to village center. Please note: The Highland cows that are pictured aren’t currently there (as of 18 July, 2024) due to a fence issue. The hotel is incredible nonetheless!
The GM, Dhiraj Smetty, works tirelessly to make sure all is perfect from check-in to dinning. He went above and beyond to address a billing issue, not of his making, and resolved it with total professionalism and concern for our needs.
Comfortable property in a suberb location. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The building itself could use some updating but overall, a great spot for exploring the Highlands!
Beautiful country house overlooking Loch Ness.
Ample car parking space.
Staff are welcoming and helpful.
Our room was spacious, clean and well kept.
There was a variety of options for breakfast which were made to order and you could adjust according to your preference.
Only snag was that we were on the top floor so had a skylight window with no blinds and in June there was constant light so some sort of blinds would have made the stay perfect - my advice, take an sleep mask with you
