This is a very special property built as a place to enjoy the mild winter and dry air of Tucson. The rooms and grounds are meticulously maintained. The interior public spaces are grand, furnished with antique furniture built on site. The high standards for maintenance and the quality of the staff make this place as good as it ever was. On site amenities as good as can be found anywhere.
This is a gem in the middle of Tucson. It has a lot of history and all the rooms are like coming home. The service is excellent and it is a long time family business. The food service is excellent also.
The hotel was beautiful, clean, and employees were friendly. Room was a great size, pull out bed was wonderful for kiddos. Amenities are good. I would stay here over and over again.
The Arizona Inn is a true gem with a wonderful history and beautiful serenity that was a balm to the soul. We will never stay anywhere else in Tuscon again. This is a VERY special place.
We’ve stayed at the Loews, Westin Paloma, and Dove Mt. — all nice hotels — but for convenience, service and true old school charm, the AZ Inn is still my favorite. Beautiful grounds, great service, convenient to all the great restaurants downtown and in the foothills, to UofA campus…. Great “throwback” hotel.
I mainly booked a one day staycation to enjoy the pool with my family. We were the only ones at the pool and they told us to turn off the music. Not turn it down but off. Pool party music not even offensive or disruptive music. We turned it off. When other guests showed up they were swimming and smiling at us. Yet a staff member asked us “Are you guys even guests here?” I didn’t see him ask anyone else but talk about coincidence we were the youngest Hispanic looking people their. Talk about not fitting in.
The alarm clock was set for 6am. When we turned it off we could hear the alarm clocks from other empty rooms go off at 6am. That didn’t sit well with my 1 and 3 year old. Yes it is historic, we’ll-maintained and clean but I think we’ll find a better fit next time.
The property is gorgeous and meticulously maintained. My daughter and I enjoyed walking the grounds at night. Our room had an odd musty smell (it had rained heavily), but there was not a speck of dust in sight! Checkin was odd and the lobby did not give the best first impression as it was dark and danky. Nonetheless, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again in the future!
This is a beautiful, wonderfully designed property. Feels incredibly private and historic in all the right ways. Staff are super nice and exceeded my expectations over and over again.
We absolutely loved our stay at this simple but elegant hotel with its lovely grounds, inviting pool, and well-trained staff. We loved having a private patio and watching the birds and bunnies as they roamed the grounds. The bar was serving dinner and the food and cocktails were excellent. We are considering coming back to Tucson just to stay at this hotel. Strongly recommend.
I was so happy with Arizona Inn. It's a beautiful property, the staff was so kind. This is definitely where I will stay next time I am in Tucson. Loved it!
While the public grounds are fairly nice, the rooms, at least the one we stayed in, which was a paid upgraded room (Patio King) was kind of dingy and old feeling. Definitely not the worth the price paid. Our initial reaction was the grounds had a feel like the La Quinta resort in La Quinta, CA, but the room felt more like average hotel at best. Wish we had only paid an average price for it.
