The hotel is far away from cafes, attractions, the mall. 2 or 3 taxi trips every day.I stayed for 2 nights and they did not clean my room and did not make the bed. Breakfast was instant coffee and a cookie.None of the staff spoke English but that's okay--it is Mexico.
Quiet hotel with cabanas in garden setting and a pool, on the north side of Chetumal. An enjoyable stay. Pool was nice, as was sitting in the garden --- and welcoming staff. Car recommended.
It was a pretty good experience. It is surrounded. Y vegetation so, it is impossible to ask for no insects or mosquitoes. But it was a pretty good place to stay.
Oh where do I start? We get there and the reception guy offered us an “upgrade” for additional pesos. We accepted only to be put in the rear of the property where there was no WiFi signal at all. Part of the reason we chose this hotel was the pool which we didn’t even use because like the bathroom pics shown on the website the pool was nothing like the picture. It had a glossy white milky type substance in the water and just didn’t look clean. The bathroom was nice but not like the pictures posted online. (See attached photos versus the ones on the website) in all everything worked, the bed wasn’t the most comfortable I’ve slept on but it wasn’t bad. Would I stay here again? Yes but wouldn’t be my first or second or third choice.

Good but the pool was empty and it is too different if you compare expectative vs reality. See append photo
Other than the fact that they over charge me the hotel was ok

The room and property were beautiful but there was a horrible, foul smell coming from the bathroom. We kept the windows open and door closed but neither of us were able to go into the bathroom for more than a few minutes, and we couldn't take showers. It was a beautiful property and room, but the smell was horrible.
Lovely site. Bungalows(I stayed in one half of a duplex), small pool, clean, trees and plants, and quiet make this a great place for families. Staff were helpful although lacking in English skills. Reasonably priced, but out of the way = higher taxi fees.
Upon arrival we were taken to our room which was on the outskirts of the property behind an old rusty heavy barred gate that had to be moved by hand in order to get in. The room was very dirty and the wifi did not work. The shower was covered in black mold and all of the faucets, small fridge, and shower head/knobs were caked in rust. The walls were smudged throughout and some places looked as if they were smudged in blood. We asked to be moved to another room and they put us on the unit right next to the one we were in. That room had an ant infestation. The third and final room we were moved to had a cockroach problem and the aluminum roof was crackling all night and sounded as if someone were throwing rocks on the roof. Not all of the rooms have a soaking tube as they describe. Their outside pool was also in disgusting conditions full of dirty water. The service itself was nothing great to speak of. The area itself was lacking of any restaurants or stores. We decided to leave the next day. They did not apologize nor try to make any amends for the poor service that they provided.
We arrived at the hotel around 10:30PM and after getting everything squared away with the guy at the front office we were led to our room. It had no running water in the shower. I immediately informed him and we were moved to another room which also didn't have running water in the shower. He then proceeded to go check a few other rooms instead of dragging us around while he found one with water. Apparently none of the regular room had water! He finally moved us to a suite at about 12AM and I immediately took my shower, no hot water by the way. I didn't even care about that at that point. After my shower I went to the bed and I noticed that those sheets hadn't even been changed!!! Disgusting! I wanted to leave ASAP, but the room was prepaid through expedia and it was so late I didn't know where we'd find another room. We ended up getting clean sheets and put them on over the rest. This was the worst hotel I've ever been to. AVOID!
Nice place. Beautiful style. Only issue I saw was that mosquitos entered the room as soon as you opened the door due to the open design. But it looked nice. Staff was ok even though they didn't speak any English. No mention of breakfast but they do offer jice and feuits.
We only stayed one night as we were passing through to Belize, beautiful hotel, room was clean and comfortable. The night staff lady was nice but did not speak any English, this made it very hard to explain that we had already paid with Expedia. Breakfast was gone 30 minutes before it was supposed to end. We werent very hungry anyways. Nice little hotel, would stay again if in the area
