A beautiful old place with a lovely atmosphere. Our standard room was spacious and nicely appointed, the bed was extremely comfortable. Everything about this hotel was so good that I couldn't find one negative thing to say and thoroughly recommend it.

Loved the cooked to order breakfast rather than the buffet style which can be hit or miss. So nice to have toast brought to the table in a toast rack. Staff all very pleasant and helpful. Dined there on one evening, simply delicious. Owners were happy to recommend eating options elsewhere. All in all we simply must recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Banff area.

Refuge from the rain
We booked an overnight stay with the aim of attending an outdoor Shakespeare production at Duff House. However, it poured with rain all day and we decided to forego the tickets while the players performed to an audience of 15 bedraggled spectators. Instead we had an excellent meal and watched an European Semi-final football match. The large room was spotless, the staff friendly

This hotel was awesome. Comfortable, beautiful building in great condition. The food was excellent made with fresh fish, local food, homemade. We walked into the town easily. The neighborhood was so nice. Coffe tea and snacks in the room. It was first class.

Great stay in Banff.
The lodge was old but very well maintained and lots of fun especially given its turn of the century design and decor. It was like going back in time...in a very good way. The room and bathroom were very large and comfortable and the staff was great....answered all of our silly tourist questions with a smile.

Spent 2 nights at Fife Lodge so we could explore the east coast. Staff were friendly on arrival, rooms were lovely not long been refurbished tastefully and of a high standard very clean with tea and coffee making facilities with complementary bottles of water and lovely biscuits which was a lovely touch. We ate both nights in the Lodge the food was excellent and plentiful first class service and plenty choice. We had breakfast included in our stay which was excellent cooked breakfast cooked to order, toast, cereal, yogurt and fresh fruit also available. We really enjoy the hospitality of everyone and will definitely return again. The hotel was a good price for what you got.
