The Moonrise is a nice enough hotel to stay at with some unique features, such as the man made moon replica and the light up staircase. Other than that, though, it is pretty average. It is also geared more toward adults than families so if you have young kids, bear that in mind. Beds were fine, although one mattress in our Executive Queen is about due for replacement judging by the dips, and the room was large, nicely furnished, and cleaned when we arrived. The internet went out for almost a full 24 hours with no explanation and that means no tv in this hotel since they don't use an antenna. Not a huge deal but I like background noise while I get ready for the day, and as I drift off to sleep. All the staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful, and the location means I will likely stay here again when I visit family - but I will look for a better room rate than I got this time if possible.

This place was not clean at all I had to buy my own cleaning supplies to clean the room. The headboard lamps and frames were full of dust. I also broke out red dots all over my legs. I hope it wasn’t bedbugs. I won’t stay in this place ever again. The staff was friendly but not clean at all.

Not worth the price

The front desk staff was not helpful with orienting me to the building. The bed frame had a bar running across the top that I could feel when I laid down. I ended up sleeping across my king sized bed to avoid the bars. They also did not have a fitted sheet on the bed. They used a top sheet for the fitted sheet. The place was pretty and was clean. I just didn't feel like it was worth the money I paid for it.

Awesome Boutique Hotel

Lovely hotel, lovely stay, lovely staff. They were always smiling and friendly. My favorite was Brandon the bartender on the rooftop bar. He was amazing. Oh and the pretzels from the bar menu were the best we have ever tasted. Highly recommend.

Fun hotel to stay at. A littways from downtown but has a couple cool late night spots right next door. Great place to stay if going to a show at The Pageabut also has mini golf across the street, and late night bowling next door. Hotel is unique and rooftop was a great place to relax. Would definitely stay again.
