We stayed here for three nights (June 6th, 2025 - June 9th, 2025) and I would highly recommend this hotel/motel. Checking-in was super easy and the front desk person, Michael was very friendly. The place is older but updates have been made where needed. Our room had a kitchenet and it had everything needed for us to have breakfast in the morning. The location is fantastic as it is steps away to the lake/bay, which can also be viewed from our room. There is also a small cluster of shops and restaurants in walking distance if you do not feel like going to the city of Duncan which is just a a few kilometres away. We saw Michael almost everyday and always asked if we needed anything and how our stay was - this was greatly appreciated. Thank you Michael for our wonderful stay!

This property is listed as being 15.4 miles from Galiano, but what isn't made clear is that you need to take a boat to reach it, and the trip takes approximately 2.5 hours. I contacted the property to explain my situation, but they still charged me the full amount for the night, even though they weren’t fully booked. Based on this experience, I can’t say anything positive about my stay.

This is an older hotel, a little worn but well cared for, clean and safe. We stay in Cowichan once a year and this is our second stay and we will continue to make this our stay of choice when here. The service is excellent.
