I booked 3 rooms for attending my son’s wedding. The hotel contacted us 5 days before check in and ask us to cancel the rooms due to over booking. One of my son cancelled and moved to another hotel. I did not. The hotel then cancelled my room 2 days before check in and then said to Hotel.com that I cancelled the room! I had no choice but booked a room elsewhere but cost me a lot of more due to last minute booking.The hotel is not honest. Will not stay again in future

Staff are very helpful. Had a meal in the restaurant and it was lovely.
We stayed here to enable us to go to family gathering close by. We found the Burnett great value for money and were very pleasantly surprised with our room. It was very spacious, very clean and more modern than expected in an older building. The bathroom was just as nice as those I’ve seen in much more expensive hotels.
We met family and had drinks in the bar which is also very nice. While we did not eat here the plates of food we saw looked tasty.
The staff were all very friendly and efficient.
Staff were very helpful and friendly. I called in advance to request an early check in as I was attending a wedding nearby. Room was ready for me when I arrived. Room was clean, plenty tea/coffee & milk, bed was comfy. Great value for money. Would definitely stay again. Thank you.
Banchory is lovely and has a few nice restaurant options nearby. This hotel has nice staff but needs some work. The bed clearly hadnt been changed, there was mould on the walls and there was no iron in the room deapiate asking for one. The shower was freezing cold for a solid 5 minutes as well.
Good value for money. Staff was helpful and friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. If you looking for a decent place to stay its certainly worth checking out.
