This hotel was in the perfect location! In the middle of everything! Staff was very nice and accommodating. I was disappointed however, when we got there, we learned the pool on the rooftop, was under construction and unable to be used. This was one of the main reasons I chose this hotel. But, the staff was very nice and apologetic and we had a lovely time!

Love the cozy feel of this hotel! It is really beautiful and the restaurant on site is very helpful when traveling with a toddler - all the staff are so helpful and kind. Additional big perks include how close it is to downtown and public transit, so everything is walkable. Also, free parking!! Which is very hard to find. Only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars across the board is that for the price (I understand it’s Banff and it is high season when we came) there are some things lacking - for example, option for pack and play or rollaway cribs and an updated television system. The AC was also either freezing or the room got kind of warm so temp control was a bit challenging. Overall though I’d recommend it because it is beautiful and the convenience of location and parking are a major plus!

Generally this is a nice property, and our room, though a bit small for a suite, was pleasant and comfortable. But our stay was seriously marred by a fire alarm at about 3:30 in the morning the first night, which lasted for at least 10 minutes and had guests standing in the halls (and at least one couple leave with their suitcases). Although there was a letter of explanation the next morning (or, rather, later that morning), there was no apology from the hotel management, and no refund or any gesture whatsoever offered to compensate for ruining a night's sleep. Totally unacceptable.

Great location near shopping / restaurants and quick walk to Bow Falls. Room was nicer than photos. Free rental of Bear spray at counter. Good ice machines. Only downside was the outdoor pool/hot tub was shut down for construction during our stay which is reason we booked the hotel. They had a part of the pool accessible next to the construction zone. Would stay again but if looking for more affordable option check around. All the hotels are right next to each other. But we enjoyed the Moose.

Second time staying at this location. Staff are awesome and location is excellent. Reason for lower rating on facilities/amenities is only because the hot pools were under construction when I stayed there in July. Hopefully they are back up and running soon - awesome when they are! Will be back for sure.
