We were disappointed to learn on check in that the hot tub was closed due to renovation. An offer of the use of the Hot Springs was given and we took the voucher. Hot springs were a 10 minute drive away. On arrival we were surprised to see it was closed (early due to a staff function). We headed down the very icy road back to the hotel. The television in our room wasn’t working. Someone came to look at it fairly quickly but was unable to get it working. We were moved to another room. Whilst we had some inconveniences the manager rectified the situation swiftly.

Book this hotel with hope to enjoy hot tub and sauna but just get notification right on the day that I could not cancel without charges that hot tub and sauna not available for renovation. I did not have time to find different hotel with things we want. Room quite, beds good but carpet smelly, washroom no hoodfan, no hooks and counter to put clothings and other personal stuff. Receptionists are good but staff in restaurant and shop not friendly. Overall, do not feel good for the trip that we want to relax.

Good location and excellent restaurant on the premises. Main lobby bathroom was under renovations as well as hot tub. Room was very hot and even when turning down heat was still hot, so not sure if thermostat worked
