I’d rate this place 0 if not for the manager who helped us with laundry and did their best to make our stay go well. Location and cleanliness is also good. Because of the owner though, we will NEVER go back. We arrived early and asked if the hotel would hold our bags until check-in. The manager said a room was open and let us in early. As we were settling in, they came back and apologized because the owner (who was in the lobby when we arrived) required we pay more if we wanted the room early. Since we didn’t need the room, we repacked our bags and hauled them downstairs. The next morning at breakfast the owner took photos of us while eating. I guess the hotel doesn’t receive many Caucasian guests. Even so, she didn’t ask our permission for the photos, instead just saying ‘Sorry’ while snapping away. Lastly, after check-out, we noticed we accidentally left a bag in the lobby. Messaging the owner on Line, we told her we’d back in town a few days later and could pick it up then. She never responded, even though she was quick to answer our questions on Line within 24hrs when it regarded booking a room. Upon our return to the hotel to get our bag, the manager said it was being “borrowed” and tried to make things better by giving us a crappy replacement instead. Later that day the owner finally responded on Line requesting we email instead, which we did. She never replied to our email trying to schedule another pickup, we still don’t have our bag and can only assume she stole it.
