One of the worst stays I’ve had. First it took over 40 minutes just to get checked in to the hotel. Once I got into my room, it was dirty, walls were old and yellowish, desk was missing a handle. Room service forgot to give me toilet paper and I had to chase them down the hall to get one roll. They also didn’t take out my dirty plates from food I ordered earlier. Check out took way too long too because I needed the receipt paper I was given when I checked in, which they never informed me I needed to keep. I had just thrown it away before leaving the room & was told to go back and get it for check out. Huge inconvenience.

Hotel is in a great location and staff are wonderful. If staying as a group as to have everyone in your group in the same tower. Live music as the pool was excellent. Rooms themselves are very outdated but the bed was comfortable and I can’t complain for the price. We were just there for a night before catching our flight home

In my room 2 spots need to be fixed: The faucet handle at the sink needs to be fixed, the bathtub water leaking out on the tub. I was wondering how some water got out on the edge of the bathtub. Even the bathtub has a shower curtain. Thanks.

I love this hotel... It's a little old school, but it has a lot of charm. The staff is great, really kind, and helpful. The gym and pool are perfect. I stayed 7 nights... room service was good. I found the location walkable, but the boat to MBK is right by the exit of the hotel. All the tourist attractions are nearby... You won't find a better hotel for the price!

Beautiful building. Some staff very nice and others not so much. Heavily advertised Salon services dont live up to hype. Hygenic handling of drinks and food need to be better across the board. One case, server behind bar sneezed in his hands but did not wash after with soap and water. Another case a bartender touched part of a fruit garnish customer would eat when he shouldve handled garnish more carefully. Third case saw a server with finger up a nostril before she quickly withdrew when we made eye contact. An international clientele may generally expect a hotel that brands itself as a resort style destination to practice standard upscale protocols. However at the Thai dining one evening, servers were extremely attentive. So they were great compared to other colleagues.
