The concierge Jack made our stay! Also the staff in the breakfast restaurant were incredible. The hotel does need some updating. The lobby felt like something from 1997… also had a weird piano playing itself. Our room could have used a serious cleaning - carpet could have used a trim cause edge was all frayed. There were Lots of things that were really helpful - ie a bathroom as soon as you come in from outside on the ground level , a small seating area where you can charge your phone, (this was amazing for our last day as we had a late flight and had already checked out).the room was strangely set up - and had to keep our suitcases in the living room area downstairs with the main bathroom and bed upstairs. No space there to keep anything. Location was great and transportation was easy either by grab, metro or train. Having never been to Bangkok I had booked hotel based on “features”’they offered ie restaurants, rooftop bar and spa. Well - spa was closed, bar was not on the rooftop and restaurants did not have the vibe. BUT all this being said anything you could
Want or imagine is close by. The concierge service and amazing breakfast certainly made up for the downsides. Once we got used to the room configuration it was indeed nice to have the living room space.
