Avondale Heights by Tiny Away
Summary:
Discover the ultimate getaway at Avondale Heights, nestled in the serene countryside of Banyena. The ideal tiny house Victoria retreat surrounded by lush open fields, abundant vegetation, and occasional wildlife encounters. And if you're in the mood for a scenic drive, just an hour's drive leads to the breathtaking MacKenzie Falls, the awe-inspiring Boroka Lookout, and the delightful town of Bendigo.
The Space:
Avondale Heights is a captivating 5-acre property in Wimmera-Banyena, untouched for 40 years. As we are a young family working away, you are most likely to be the only residents for miles.
Nearby, scenes from the famous 2020 film "The Dry", featuring Eric Bana, includes scenes filmed in Banyena—notably the opening scenes were filmed at Banyena Hall and the Church across the road. Just a short drive from our cozy farmhouse, you'll find these cinematic landmarks.
With our ongoing renovations, lush gardens, fruit orchards, friendly horses, and a miniature pony, there's always something exciting happening at our countryside retreat.
A cozy 113-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. The bathroom follows ecologically sustainable principles, including a waterless eco-friendly compost toilet, hand basin, and shower (gas-heated for hot showers).
If you plan to spend your tiny house Victoria retreats here, we advise that you bring your basic necessities such as food and water during your stay with us. Thank you!
IMPORTANT NOTE: Please advise that there will be some animal noise during your stay as we are animal lovers with two rescue horses and a miniature pony.
Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny house and its surrounding areas, except the land host's private residence.
The Neighborhood:
