Conveniently located in the old quarter. Lots of shops and nice restaurants. Room is clean. Bed is comfortable. Front desk reception staff are all extremely friendly and helpful. I will definitely return to stay at this hotel the next time I am in Barcelona.

Great hotel, perfect location….walk to Las Ramblas and to many great restaurants and shops. The Gothic Quarter is a beautiful area to stay for first time visitors like us. We were right around the corner to the Barcelona Basilica which is in the center of the Gothic Quarter. The hotel staff went above and beyond to be helpful, assist with directions, order taxis…a shout out to Joaquin who was so helpful, friendly and professional. We were welcomed with a bottle of champagne and chocolates. The rooftop was a nice place to relax and have a drink. Our room was on the top floor with a terrace….it was spacious, comfortable and clean. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the beautiful city….you will not be disappointed!

A wonderful hotel in a great location, right in the heart of the gothic quarter. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean. The only slight issue was that, like most European hotels, the room was a bit tight. It was not a problem but I thought it should be mentioned. I would not hesitate to stay there again next time I am in Barcelona.

Our experience at Hotel Catalonia Catedral was phenomenal, from the time you step in the hotel you feel very welcomed by their friendly staff, eager to help you with your simplest needs. Modern hotel in Gothic section of Barcelona- centrally located. Breakfast is lovely but a bit on the expensive side. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The hotel is well-designed with a modern aesthetic. They also have a lovely rooftop with a pool. The staff is very attentive and helpful. I would definitely stay here again

We loved our stay here. Our only criticism is that when we were calling about transportation from the cruise port to their hotel the receptionist said they had nothing and we ended up being taken advantage of by a local taxi and paid double and were dropped on a corner blocks from the hotel. When we asked about transportation when leaving and explained what had happened they were apologetic and had a taxi driver they have used in the past and his name was Albert and he was amazing! We used him for all of our travel after we left the hotel and that was so helpful! The only other negative is I contacted them through Expedia 3 times with no response about transportation and had to call. The staff once we arrived were incredible and the breakfast was the best we had during our 2 weeks of travel! Would stay there again for sure!

Lovely hotel,
Lovely stay. The room was clean, our private Poole and balcony area was amazing. The lobby has the strangest smell. You notice it when u arrive and Everytime you walk out. It's really unpleasant. Other than that. Great hotel
