The hotel is within walking distance of the hop on/hop off bus and they also offer a discount for the hop on/hop off bus. You can walk to many restaurants as well as the Bull ring shopping mall. The dining options are many. The hotel staff is very knowledgeable about the restaurants in the offer and have great suggestions but explore on your own! Also, they offer Welcome Drivers which is a great option and I used them alot during my stay in Barcelona. My only complaint was my room faced the street and was noisy due to the outside noise. The room was comfortable and the bed was great!!! They also offer a breakfast buffet which was great but wished they were open for a light lunch or dinner. Overall, really enjoyed staying at the Hotel Lugano.

Our stay at Hotel Lugano was amazing. Dinky, Luis, Miguel and Sandra were super welcoming and provided all kinds of information about buses, trams, subways, restaurants, shopping, tours... On our last night they found my wife and I at a restaurant close by the hotel and told us to come back to the hotel and they had a good bye glass of cava and a little farewell party for us. The room was perfect for us, we spent most of the time out and about in Barcelona so we only slept in the room. Perfect. The staff are incredible. We stayed 9 nights at Hotel Lugano.

The staff were exceptional - professional and very friendly. Comfortable room and great breakfast. Comfortable beds and great shower. Sound-proofing between rooms is not great. Superb location.

I spent 8 nights at Hotel Lugano. I found the hotel to be very clean and well maintained. I had a single room. It was small but plenty big enough for one traveller. They had recently changed the mattresses so that was perfect for a good sleep. The continental breakfast was very good-great selection. The staff were very accommodating and wanted to help in any way they could. If it was a jug of hot water and some milk so that I could make a cup of tea in my room or what subway line I needed to take the metro to Sagrada Familia or taking me across the street to flag down a cab that was heading to the harbour area they were more than willing to help. They were also very knowledgeable about their city and willing to make suggestions of things to be seen. The hotel was in a great location. Away from the heaviest tourist areas but with two metro stations close by so it was easy to access any point in the city. I would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends.

This is a very good tourist hotel. My room was streetside, but was quiet. Staff are very fluent in English. Easy walk to great eateries and to the Barcelona Metro.

Nice stayedstaff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome once we arrived at eye hotel. The first day Sandra and her colleague did an amazing job helping us settle and providing guidance where to go to eat. I must say, the Pulpería that was recommended was excellent. The menu on the breakfast was excellent, you don't have to wait to verify your room number, you walk in and serve yourself, then the person would come to your table and ask for the information. The selection of the food was fresh and good, I wanted to try everything they had. On our second day Dinky helped us do a late check out, also recommended another restaurant for tapas which was excellent!!! We are happy with our stay, I would definitely stay again and totally recommend the hotel.
