I rented a suite hoping and expecting to get the best they had. Well, TV didn't display any color which I am sure they knew about!! shower water strength was poor, toilet leaked . This place used to be one of the best in bquilla but it seems that they only want to squeeze as much money out of it as possible, without re-investing any back! Only great thing about this place is it's location and both the security and the reception staff. Can;t beat the location.

The rooms/bathrooms are a bit outdated. Breakfast was great. Front doors were always open so anyone could walk around hotel even if they weren’t a guest. Overall, For the price and location, I would stay again.

Service at restaurant is awful. constantly waiting for milk, coffee and eating utensils!! which I believe is caused not by the staff but the lack of it...They seem to try and save money by operating with minimal staff insane small things but its constant. Can't operate a restaurant with 2-3 people out front serving and cleaning. not fair to the restaurant staff because they are the ones taking the heat for poor management!! I had a reservation for 2 but a staff member wanted to charge me extra for taking a meal to my room when there was actually no tables ready as they were all taken or not cleaned of used plates!! door to my room was very hard to close-open and I warned them that if it broke that I did not want to be blamed - well it took them more than 6 days to fix! they don't allow visitors to go to your room and its not due to security reasons, its done for money! they will charge you 40K pesos PP even if that person simply goes up for an hour to visit you. Security can be satisfied by simply registering that person using their personal identification like other surrounding hotels do! crazy changes at this hotel which I believe will cause me to NOT stay there again!

The a/c don't cool the rooms, it is unbearable hot in Barranquilla and the a/c needs to function properly. Also had to ask for small refrigerator as there was none in the room.

Very old and outdated property. We ended moving to a much better hotel after the first night but should have left right away but it was late. We got to our rooms and they smelled musty and the bathrooms smelled like sewage. The room walls and doors were dirty and everything was very old. We found a ball of chewed up gum on the inside door handle, no fridge in our room that was supposed to be there, no toilet seat, our safe didn't work, the shower drain didn't drain and filled the tub up very quickly, the sink taps were almost impossible to turn on, the air-conditioner barely worked and the room did not cool down. The elevator was disgusting and probably hadn't been cleaned in weeks, if that! Our friends had pretty much the same issues in their room but had a fridge and toilet seat, but no hairdryer. This hotel needs major renovations and I would not recommend unless that is what you're looking for.
